Lilly Gerrard has showed off the stylish nursey for her baby girl. Steven Gerrard’s eldest daughter welcomed Lila Grey into the world earlier this year with partner Lee Byrne.
The 21-year-old has since been sharing regular updates from her happy family life on Instagram. She has taken to the social media platform today to share a series of gushing updates as she swooned over her growing family. She shared a snap of Lee with Lila, as she said: “Love youse.”
She also showed off the completed nursey that was topped off with a baby blanket from exclusive Parisian brand, Hermès. A look on the Hermès website seems what appears to be the blanket priced at £1,040.
A snap of the nursery, shared with her 228,000 followers, showed Lila’s name is adorned on the side of the wall in a yellow neon sign.
Lilly shared snaps of the family celebrating their first Christmas last week as she called her baby daughter: “The best day.” Former Reds captain Gerrard opened up on how much he is loving life as a grandad in an interview last week.
The 45-year-old has spoken about family life in an interview with The Smith Brothers in an episode of the boxing family family’s new podcast, which was released on December 26.
The Reds icon speaks about becoming a grandad in the opening section as he opened up on how he has been devoting the past few months to his family.
He said: “[I’ve had] loads of free time with the family with the granddaughter coming, so trying to be around Lily and [her partner] Lee [Byrne] as much as we can. More [his wife] Alex [Gerrard] because she knows what she’s doing.”
Gerrard said he has loved welcoming a new generation of his family into the fold. as he said: “It’s unbelievable. It’s just the same buzz as when your own come. So loads of that.”
Lilly has continued a special family tradition with the name of her baby girl.
The adorable name is in keeping with a family tradition as the Liverpool FC legend and his wife Alex gave all of their children names beginning with L.
In addition to Lilly, the couple are the proud parents of Lexie, Lourdes and Lio. Lilly’s partner also continues the trend as she has welcomed the child into the world with her boyfriend, Lee.
