Stacey Solomon announced that her son Zachary has joined Instagram for the first time. The decision comes as the eldest son of Stacey celebrates his 18th birthday today, Saturday March 21.
A picture of Stacey and Zachary hugging was uploaded by the proud mum today. The adorable snap was also uploaded to Zachary’s account, becoming his first social media post. Despite his account only being launched a couple of hours ago, he has amassed over 13,000 followers already.
Stacey posted to her Instagram story: “My baby is on Instagram now. I swear to goodness you better be so nice. I am proud we held out to 18 Zachy.”
Birthday wishes have been sent to Zachary throughout today, including from his mum and stepdad Joe Swash. This evening, Joe shared a picture of Zachary when he was a baby with Stacey. Another picture showed him attending an awards ceremony with Joe and a third snap showed him standing near the Eiffel Tower.
To mark his special 18th birthday, Joe said: “Happy 18th birthday, Zachary! Watching you grow into such a kind and caring young man has been something really special. Wishing you nothing but success and happiness in the years ahead, this is just the start of something great.”
The family will be celebrating this evening, Stacey said: “Today is all about you Zachary. 18 wonderful years of you. We are SO lucky. Now let’s go OUT out.”
The Loose Women panellist shared an emotional message for her son earlier today. She wrote: “I blinked & my baby boy turned 18 Zachary, growing up with you has been the biggest privilege of my life. Looking through our memories, every video I have of you shows just how special you are.
“The kindest man with the biggest heart. The world is so lucky to have an human like you in it. Happy birthday darling boy. To the moon & stars and back again. Sorry that I’ve spent the whole morning crying. I’ll pull myself together eventually.”
Stacey’s family update comes after she opened up about her relationship with Joe after she was recently spotted without her wedding ring. Stacey and Joe have been married since 2022 and they share three children together.
Stacey and Joe share son Rex, six, and daughters Rose, four, and Belle, two. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, 18, with former partner Dean Cox, and Leighton, 13, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barham.
This Morning’s Ben Shephard asked said earlier this week: “The two of you, we love watching you share so much, all these crazy rumours going on about the two of you at the moment. You’ve not been wearing your ring and there might be some issues going on.”
Stacey brushed off any rumours as she said: “Do you know what I’m terrible, I don’t read any of that! In fact, does anyone read any of that rubbish? Have I not been wearing my ring? I probably took it off to go to the toilet or something!”
