
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has given birth to her first child. The Australian professional dancer welcomed her new baby boy into the world with her partner Joe Sugg. The couple have been flooded with support from fans after sharing regular insights into their pregnancy journey over the last nine months.
YouTuber star Joe Sugg announced the news on social media on Wednesday, that Dianne gave birth on Monday, March 16. He also shared their new baby’s adorable name with followers.
On Instagram, Joe shared a snap of their newborn wearing a blue knitted hat. He wrote: “Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg 16/03/26.”
Strictly’s Vito Coppola commented: “Oh Finally bello di zio I am so so happy crying for joy and happiness Uncle Vito cannot wait to meet you. Love love love Bellissimo a zio.”
Amy Dowden wrote: “Utter perfection So happy for you both, welcome baby Bowden! xxxx.”

The professional dancer announced she was expecting her first child with partner, Joe Sugg, in 2025.
In September, the couple captioned a reel: “Our little baby boy [love heart emoji] we cannot wait to meet you.” In the video, they were seen painting three stick figures with “2026” at the top of the drawing, to Elton John’s Tiny Dancer.

The dance star met the YouTuber when they were partnered together back in 2018 for the popular BBC dancing show, Strictly, and their relationship has since gone from strength to strength.
Dianne has updated fans throughout her journey, including preparing her hospital bag filled with nappies, new baby clothes and a maternity bra.
