Lilly Gerrard, eldest daughter of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, celebrated her daughter Lila Grey’s two-month birthday by sharing an adorable photo on Instagram with the caption “2 months today.”
Lila Grey Gerrard is the daughter of Lilly Gerrard and Lee Byrne, who announced her birth in July with a photo and the caption “@Leebyrne 2 becomes 3.”
Lilly continues the family tradition of using names starting with ‘L’—Steven and Alex Gerrard’s children include Lilly, Lexie, Lourdes, and Lio.
Steven Gerrard expressed his pride for Lilly in a July Instagram post, writing, “So proud of you Lilly” with a heart emoji.
After celebrating two months since Lila Grey’s birth, Lilly wrote, “In love with you.” Her sister Lourdes also marked the occasion, posting “two months of loving you” with a photo of her niece.
Steven Gerrard has embraced his new role as grandad, often sharing photos of himself on “grandad duty.” After Lila’s birth, Liverpool FC sent him congratulations along with a baby gift.
Lilly and her partner Lee Byrne have been together for over two years, confirming their relationship in 2022 with photos from Ibiza.
Though Lilly grew up in Merseyside, she spent much of the past few years abroad due to her dad’s coaching role in Saudi Arabia. Since the family returned to the UK, she’s been mostly based in Liverpool.
As expected, Lilly hopes her daughter Lila Grey will grow up a Liverpool fan. She recently shared a photo of Lila wearing the new Liverpool FC home kit, complete with a cute red bow hairband. Lilly captioned the post with laughing emojis and a red heart.
Steven Gerrard has shown his support for his daughter’s partner, Lee, by wishing him a happy birthday last month, calling him his “son-in-law.”
Gerrard was also quick to congratulate the couple when Lilly announced her pregnancy earlier this year, saying, “We can’t wait. Great news and congratulations, we love you.”
