Lilly Gerrard is celebrating Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend Lee Byrne. The couple have been together for over two years and first announced their romance with a series of snaps posted from their time in Ibiza, Spain.
The eldest daughter of Steven Gerrard shares updates from her happy life on social media. Lilly and Lee have shared heartfelt messages for each other on Instagram today. Lilly shared six pictures from their time together and captioned it: “Happy Valentine’s Day, me and Lila love you so much.”
Lee posted a selfie with Lilly and wrote: “Happy Valentine’s love you so much Lilly. Love you forever”, he added a red love heart emoji. They became parents in July 2025 and shared the news with social media followers.
Lilly announced “2 becomes 3” as she shared a picture of her partner carrying their baby out of the hospital. The Liverpool FC legend’s daughter later revealed how she has carried on a family tradition as she confirmed the name of her new bundle of joy.
She said: “So lucky to be your mum. My beautiful baby girl. Lila Grey. Perfection.” The adorable name is in keeping with a family tradition as the retired Reds’ midfielder and his wife Alex gave all of their children names beginning with L.
In addition to Lilly, the couple are the proud parents of Lexie, Lourdes and Lio. Lilly’s partner also continues the trend of names beginning with L.
After announcing the pregnancy, Gerrard was the first to comment as he said: “We can’t wait. Great news and congratulations we love you.” Alex Gerrard took to the comments and said: “Can’t wait.” Lilly’s sister, Lexie, also posted “Can’t wait to be an auntie.”
Tomorrow marks seven months since Lilly gave birth to Lila-Grey. Lilly said “Love you so much” as she acknowledged the special date. Steven and Alex Gerrard have also been sharing loving messages for each other today.
Alex shared a picture with Gerrard to her story and captioned it: “Happy Valentine’s Day Steven. Love you loads.” She added a red love heart and a rose emoji. A second picture showed a glass of red wine on a table as the couple enjoyed a meal together at a restaurant yesterday evening, February 13.
An adorable photo was uploaded by Gerrard as he reciprocated the love. He posted a photo of him and Alex, with their granddaughter Lila Grey in his arms. The former Red said: “Happy Valentine’s Day Alex.”
