Lilly Gerrard has sent a “love you” message to her daughter Lila Grey in an adorable update. Lilly, who is the daughter of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, regularly updates fans on her life as a new mum. She gave birth to her first child, Lila Grey, last year and regularly updates her followers on social media with what she gets up to day-to-day.
Lilly shared the incredible news she had welcomed her first child into the world when she posted a snap of her partner, Lee Byrne, as he carried their new baby out of the hospital. The 21-year-old has kept her followers updated after giving birth right from the very moment she arrived home with her newborn.
In a recent Instagram story, she posted an adorable photo of baby Lila Grey tucked up in bed. Lila was dressed in a pink zip-up baby grow with a cream love heart pattern.
Lilly captioned the photo with the words: “Love you” and a white love heart emoji.
She also posted a photo this morning, sharing a snap of Lila Grey in a ball pit which appears to be in their home.
The rose coloured circular pit is filled with gold and white balls, with Steven Gerrard’s granddaughter sat smiling straight at the camera. Lilly said: “Morning princess” with a crown emoji.
Lilly often shares aspects of her life to her 228,000 followers on Instagram. Lilly has stayed with the family tradition of using “L” names.
The Premier League icon and and his wife, Alex, gave all their four children names beginning with L. In addition to Lilly, they are the proud parents of Lexie, Lourdes and Lio.
Lilly has been dating boyfriend Lee for more than two years, since they went public with their romance in a series of snaps posted from their time in Ibiza.
A Christmas present from Liverpool FC to Gerrard last year was a baby-sized Liverpool kit with “Grandad” written across the back with the number 8. The club has been generous to the family since they welcomed another member.
When Lila arrived, the club sent a message to the Gerrard household. It said: “Dear Steven and family, congratulations on the arrival of baby Lila Grey. With love and best wishes from all at Liverpool Football Club xx.”
Inside the wrapped gift were plenty of baby products, including a huge white teddy bear, grey slipper socks, white roses, and a heart plaque that read “Dream Big Little One”.
