Holly Willoughby is “grateful” as she shared a rare insight into her home life. The former This Morning presenter turned 45 earlier this week and took to social media to issue a thank you message to her followers. The mum-of-three informed users she was having a “moment of calm” as she posed for a selfie while completing a jigsaw.
The 45-year-old TV star has been a familiar face on our screens for the last two decades. She is perhaps best known for presenting daytime ITV show This Morning alongside Philip Schofield until 2023.
She also presented Dancing On Ice, and starred in Celebrity Juice for over a decade. She recently fronted Celebrity Bear Hunt on Netflix alongside Bear Grylls.
While Holly is having a well-deserved break away from the limelight, she took to social media to share an update following her birthday on Tuesday, February 10.
She posted a selfie of herself doing a jigsaw puzzle as she sat beside a glass of wine, with her cat sprawled out on the sofa behind her. She told her followers she was having a “moment of calm” after her birthday.
She said: “Just having a moment of calm, listening to the rain outside whilst me and Dave (did I mention the kids renamed the cat about 3 years ago, and yes she answers to both) sit here and get to work on my birthday puzzle… just to say, thank you for the birthday love and messages you sent… you are the best! Thank you… going into 45 feeling eternally grateful.”
Fans took to the comments to send more love and good wishes after the star shared a rare glimpse into her personal life.

While Holly enjoys a relaxing birthday week, the TV presenter is currently in the running to become the new host of Strictly Come Dancing. Other stars rumoured include Emma Willis, Rylan Clark and Zoe Ball.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman shocked fans of the show when they confirmed they would be stepping down as presenters at the end of the latest season.
Tess presented the show since its first ever season in 2004 and Claudia took over as co-host in 2014. Their exit will leave a void at the helm of the primetime BBC show and bookmakers are convinced the BBC will look to one the most reliable broadcasters to take over.
