Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin received an outpouring of support from his fellow dancers after sharing a heartfelt message dedicated to his girlfriend.
The Ukrainian-born professional dancer became a household name when he joined the BBC programme in 2021 – and quickly won over viewers with his charm and talent.
Throughout his time on the show, he’s danced alongside various celebrities including Layton Williams and Ellie Simmonds. In the latest series, he reached the final alongside reality television personality Amber Davies.
Beyond the glitz of the television programme and rehearsal rooms, Nikita is in a happy relationship with model Lauren Jaine. The couple began dating in 2023 and their bond has continued to flourish.
Recently, Nikita used his Instagram platform to honour Lauren on her special day. The television personality shared multiple stunning photographs from Lauren’s celebration, including adorable selfies of the couple looking utterly besotted, reports Wales Online.
In his message, he penned: “Happy 25th birthday to the love of my life love you Bibble.” Nikita’s Strictly colleagues were swift to respond in the comments with birthday messages. Professional dancer Karen Hauer wrote: “Happy bday gorgeous,” whilst Carlos Gu added three love heart emojis.

Jowita Przystal then said: “Happy birthday.” One admirer enthused: “The most gorgeous couple. Happy birthday Lauren.” Another follower added: “Absolutely beautiful. Happy birthday to your better half Nikita.”
Nikita has never been shy about expressing his feelings for Lauren. In a previous chat with OK! , he couldn’t help but gush about his girlfriend, saying: “I’m really lucky to have a supportive family and girlfriend. I always call my mum on my way home, and when I get back, I have Lauren waiting for me.”
He continued: “We make time for each other. Last night, after a 12-hour rehearsal, we watched Iron Man. We’re going through the entire Marvel series!”.
The dancer also opened up about his views on marriage, admitting: “Yeah, we’ve definitely talked about the future. I hope one day she’ll say yes! We just saw a video of a wedding in South Africa and got emotional watching it. So, why not?”.
As for their ideal date night, the couple share a love for “penchant for adventures”. Whether it’s impromptu road trips, hikes, or exploring hidden gems in London, they’re currently enjoying cosy nights in watching Modern Family.
He elaborated: “It’s less about what we do and more about simply being together and respecting each other’s space.”
