A former Coronation Street and Emmerdale star has announced she’s given birth to her baby boy in a sweet announcement on social media.
Paula Lane made her debut on the ITV soap back in 2010 as Kylie Platt before her character was killed off six years later in in 2016. Although she was back on-screens more recently in Emmerdale, taking on the role of Ella Forster until her exit last year.
Her soap co-stars have rushed to share their congratulations after Paula shared the happy news that she’s welcomed a son into the world, revealing his name is Patrick to her followers.
Paula shared a series of adorable snaps with her newborn, one featuring her lovingly looking down at him as another showed her husband Tom Shaw holding the baby in one hand and a bottle of Paddy whiskey in the other.

Two other images showed their black Labrador, Stoodley, curled up next to a pair of small booties and the other lying down in front of a Moses basket.She captioned the post: “Welcome to the ranch, Patrick. We are all completely and utterly in love. So longed for…thank you for completing us.”It wasn’t long before people commented on the post, with many sharing their congratulation messages. Former soap star Samia Longchambon commented: “Congratulations Paula! Beautiful news.”

Another person wrote: “Ahhh congratulations. How lovely this is to see your new arrival. I hope you are all keeping well. Sending my best wishes to you all:)”Someone else shared: “Aww Paula and Tom, Stoodley and the kiddies, many congrats to you all. Stoodley looks proud in those photos.”

While another fan added: “Awww Paula, massive congrats to you all.”

Paula and her husband Tom tied the knot in 2014 and had two children before their latest arrival.In 2014 she had their first son, Arthur Shaw, before having their daughter, Penny Grace, in 2016.The actress confirmed they were expecting their third child together last August in a sweet Instagram post.
