JoJo Siwa has never been shy about celebrating the people she loves — but this year, the dancer-turned-pop-star took things to a whole new level. The 22-year-old surprised boyfriend Chris Hughes with a football-themed birthday party at her U.S. home, marking his 33rd year with balloons, streamers and a giant Sunderland F.C. cake fit for a Premier League superfan.
Chris, dressed in his golf gear, looked overjoyed as he blew out the candles while JoJo filmed the moment with a grin that said everything.
But the cake wasn’t the only thing melting hearts.
JoJo posted a glowing tribute online, calling Chris her “favourite person” and admitting she “couldn’t imagine life” without him. The couple, who met on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, have moved at lightning speed — and JoJo’s caption only fuelled fan buzz about how serious they’ve become.
Alongside footage of jet-ski adventures, cuddles with her dogs, and candid selfies, JoJo wrote:
“Everyone who knows you is lucky. Love you lots and lots more than tater tots.”
Wedding Bells Already?
Despite being based in the U.S., JoJo and Chris confirmed they’ll spend Christmas in England with his family — a major step for a relationship that officially began in May.
And yes, the pair have already discussed marriage.

Elsewhere in the dump, JoJo shared a number of sweet photos of the couple making memories together including jet skiing

It comes after the couple revealed they have talked marriage ahead of spending their first Christmas together – and confirmed when they really started dating

Despite being in the States at the moment, JoJo and Chris revealed they will be spending Christmas with Chris’s family in England this year

And ahead of the festivities, the pair have hinted they are already thinking about marriage in a sign their relationship is getting serious, and fast
In an interview with The Sun, JoJo joked she would propose herself if Chris hasn’t got down on one knee within seven years. Chris quickly shut that down, insisting he would be the one to do the asking.
“It shouldn’t take you seven years to know,” he said.
But JoJo wasn’t exactly hiding her excitement. When asked whether she hoped to unwrap a ring this Christmas, her eyes “lit up”, according to the reporter.
Reality TV Romance… or Something Real?
Their chemistry on Celebrity Big Brother raised eyebrows, especially since JoJo was still dating Kath Ebbs at the time. After the show, JoJo ended the relationship — leaving Kath “shocked and devastated” — and soon after went public with Chris.
Some viewers accused the new couple of staging a showmance, but both JoJo and Chris denied it, saying they formed a deep connection during three intense weeks in the Big Brother house.
“We got to know everything about each other,” Chris said. “It was a long time, even though we weren’t together then.”
Meanwhile… JoJo’s Ex Is Engaged
In a twist worthy of a reality-TV plotline, JoJo’s ex Kath Ebbs has moved on and recently announced an engagement to new partner Tilly Lucas-Rodd.
The pair revealed their matching rings during an Instagram live, confirming they’ve found their own fresh start.
A Fast-Moving Love Story — and No Apologies
JoJo and Chris are now balancing life between the U.S. and U.K., choosing jobs that don’t pull them apart. For them, protecting their relationship is non-negotiable.
“Nothing comes between us,” JoJo said. “If something makes things stressful, it’s not worth it.”
Fast, intense, chaotic, romantic — JoJo’s story with Chris seems to be all of the above. And if her birthday tribute is anything to go by, she isn’t slowing down.
