Photos from Holly Ramsay and Adam Peaty’s wedding day are a reminder of the sad family feud with only one member of Olympic swimmer Adam’s side of the family at the lavish nuptials.
Holly, 26, daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana, and Adam, 31, tied the knot a few days after Christmas on 27 December at Bath Abbey in Somerset with a star-studded guest list. This was followed by a lavish reception at luxury Georgian manor Kin House.
But following a family feud which saw most of Adam’s family disinvited from the wedding, it’s emerged that only his sister Bethany was on the guest list in the end, with an important role as one of Holly’s three bridesmaids, alongside Holly’s sisters Tilly and Megan. Meanwhile, Adam’s five-year-old son George, who he shares with ex partner Eirianedd Munroe, also had a special role in the ceremony as he acted as ring bearer.

Holly’s parents also played a key role in the special day – the bride changed into her mum Tana’s wedding dress and dad Gordon helped select the lavish feast for the guests and paid for the newlyweds’ honeymoon. The famously outspoken TV chef also delivered a powerful father of the bride speech, which Holly has now defended, as she shared her wedding album with British Vogue.
In the speech, Gordon, 59, reportedly said his wife Tana, 51, ‘will be a good mum to them both,’ while addressing daughter Holly and her new husband – who is no longer speaking to his own mother. The Sun reported that Gordon commented on how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a “lucky man”, adding: “Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.” Gordon is then said to have made a dig at Adam’s absent parents as he said: “Shame you don’t have the same.”
Sharing a photo of her dad’s speech, Holly told Vogue: “Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces.” Along another snap of Gordon on the microphone, Holly said: “Dad’s speech was everything and more.”
In stunning snaps from their big day, Holly and Adam beamed at the camera as they posed for a ‘just married’ picture inside the grand church. They were surrounded by her parents and her five siblings – Megan, 27, twin brother Jack, 26, Tilly, 24, Oscar, six, and two-year-old Jesse James.

Family members that were notably missing from the photo included Adam’s heartbroken mum Caroline and dad Mark. In an apparent swipe at Adam, brother James – who was previously arrested over claims he sent threatening messages to Adam during his stag do – posted a photo with his mum outside Bath Abbey dressed in wedding attire.
In the exclusive interview with Vogue, Holly showed off her wedding dress for the very first time, after covering up in a Scottish Widow’s style white cape outside the church so no one would get a glimpse of her real dress.
Revealing it was a traditional lace dress from designer Elie Saab with a high collar, long train and a veil, Holly said she was influenced by Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton’s wedding gowns.
She shared: “The aisle at the abbey is 65 metres. It’s so grand and so beautiful… I knew I needed something long! I knew I wanted to wear something very traditional and quite modest, with lace. I’ve always loved Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton’s gowns: that beautiful high neckline, super feminine.”
She also chose an extra special dress to wear for her and Adam’s first dance – her mother Tana’s wedding dress from her 1996 wedding to dad Gordon.
“I’ve always loved the idea of bringing in mum’s dress at some point. It’s beautiful: silk with a V-neckline and pearls all the way around. I tried it on and it fit me perfectly – it didn’t need any altering,” said Holly.
Holly and Adam’s first dance was to ‘A Different Corner’ by George Michael, a song Holly says they had picked out “ever since we first began dating.”

Her three bridesmaids wore red dresses by family friend Victoria Beckham, while mum Tana also wore a VB design. Celebrity guests included the designer herself with husband David and their kids, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and 14-year-old Harper.
Eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 26, was nowhere to be seen however, as his feud with his own family since his marriage to US heiress Nicola Peltz appears to continue. Broadcaster Dan Walker, Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies and celebrity chef Marcus Wareing were also spotted amongst the wedding guests.
Revealing more special details from the day, Holly said her Michelin Star chef dad Gordon was unsurprisingly ‘extremely’ involved with the food. Guests are said to have dined on prawn cocktails, beef wellington and pan-roasted halibut, followed by a tarte tatin. Afterwards, Sara Davies declared it the “best wedding food I’ve ever had”, while Dan Walker called it “insanely good”.
A traditional wedding cake is said to have been served at 8pm. In a surprise to her new husband, Holly said she arranged for this to be red velvet inside, which appears to be a favourite of Adam’s.
