Emmerdale’s Laura Norton has shared a heartfelt tribute to her fiancé and co-star.
The actress joined the long-running ITV soap in 2012 as Kerry Wyatt, mum to Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), and quickly became a fan favourite in the Dales.
Throughout her time on the show, Laura has been at the centre of numerous major storylines, from Kerry’s turbulent relationship with daughter Amy to her surprising romantic entanglements, ensuring her character has never been far from the drama.
This year proved particularly intense, as Kerry was caught up in a devastating limo crash in February that claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and, heartbreakingly, her daughter Amy.

Off-screen, Laura is engaged to fellow actor Mark Jordon, who is perhaps best recognised for playing PC Phil Bellamy in Heartbeat, as well as his own stint on Emmerdale, reports the Daily Star.
Mark took on the role of Daz Spencer in 2014, returning for another run between 2017 and 2019. The pair met on the ITV set and became engaged in late 2018, before welcoming son Jesse in January 2021 and later daughter Ronnie.
Laura recently shared a touching tribute to her partner on Instagram, posting a snap from a romantic beach outing showing Mark admiring the stunning scenery.
She wrote in the caption: “This day 6 years ago. Feels like another lifetime. forever @markjordondad.”
Fans and fellow cast members were quick to share their adoration for the loved-up pair. In the comments section, Vanessa Woodfield star Michelle Hardwick expressed her affection with two love heart emojis. Another fan shared their adoration with three love heart faces.

During a previous chat with Inside Soap, Laura gave us a glimpse into her life with Mark and reminisced about their first encounter. She revealed: “Mark came in as Dan’s brother Daz in 2014, initially for a short stint.
“We kept in touch as friends and grew closer – and we never looked back. If you’d have said when we first met that in a few years we would be a couple and have a baby, I would’ve said ‘excuse me?'”.
