Nicola Roberts has delighted fans with the news she is expecting her first child. The Girls Aloud singer, 40, shared the joyous announcement on Instagram today, Christmas Day, revealing that she and her fiancé, former footballer Mitch Hahn, are five months into her pregnancy and eagerly anticipating a spring arrival.
The star, from Runcorn, posted a series of snaps showing her baby bump beside a festive Christmas tree, describing the moment as “the most precious news”. In her caption, she wrote: “Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families.
“We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring.” The singer and Mitch, 37, have been in a relationship since 2022 and kept much of their romance out of the public eye until their recent engagement.
=The couple became engaged last year during a trip to the south of France, a milestone first noticed by fans when Roberts appeared on stage at Brighton Pride wearing a sparkling diamond ring.
Friends and fellow celebrities flooded social media with congratulations following her announcement.

Niccola rose to fame as part of Girls Aloud after being selected on the ITV show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
The group enjoyed enormous success with a string of consecutive UK top 10 singles and platinum-selling albums before reuniting for a celebrated tour in 2024.
