Nikki Sanderson and Anthony Quinlan have been flooded with support as they announced they are expecting their first child. Nikki is renowned for her role as Candice Stowe on Coronation Street.
The 41-year-old played the character for 6 years from 1999 and became a key member of the cast on Weatherfield. Her famous partner will also be known to soap fans as Anthony is renowned for his role as Pete Barton on Emmerdale. Pete endured a dramatic period in the Yorkshire Dales as he served time in prison and was involved in a fiery romance with Debbie Dingle.
The character eventually quit the show in 2019 and was last seen driving to Liverpool to be reunited his brother, Ross. Away from the screen, the soap stars fortunately endure far less turbulent lives.
They have been a happy relationship for a number of years and have taken to social media to share some exciting news as they are expecting their first child together.
They shared the news in a heartwarming post on Christmas Eve (December 24) as they shared a personalised bauble. Nikki said: “Merry Christmas from the 3 of us.
“Baby Quinlan due Spring 2026.”
