Georgia Harrison has been rushed to hospital just months after giving birth to her first child. Taking to Instagram, Georgia posted a photo of herself on a stretcher. The Love Island star received many messages of support after the health update.

Posting to Instagram, Georgia said: “It’s been a whirlwind of a week, I ended up back where Sahara was born with a nasty infection but I’m on the road to recovery now and we’re all ready for our first Christmas as a family.”

Georgia welcomed Sahara with her partner Jack Stacey in October 2025, a few days before her due date of November 5. Announcing the birth, Georgia shared a compilation of photos of her rubbing her bump at different moments of her pregnancy, and the short video ended with her stroking the baby.

Georgia recently said her appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2024 helped her to embrace motherhood, as it prepared her for the mental and physical challenges that come with having a baby.

Speaking with the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential column, she said: “SAS helped me learn to get up in the night, stuff like that, and just face it. I always think, no matter how hard this is, it’s never worse than some of the experiences I’ve had in the past, so I just get on with it.”

Further responses were: “Hope you’re properly on the mend now and have a peaceful, healthy Christmas” and “Honestly Georgia you are doing amazing I hope you and all of your family have a really lovely Christmas.”

The same post also showed some heartwarming moments from recent weeks. In one photo, the mum and daughter were cosying up in bed before Sahara had a feed.

Announcing her pregnancy in an exclusive chat with OK! back in May, Georgia said: “We both definitely wanted children, but we didn’t quite plan on it this soon, we might’ve tried to have a fun summer beforehand. But once we’d taken it in, we realised this was the right time.”

Georgia had also said she would not miss partying now that she is a mum. She told Closer magazine: “There’s nothing in my old life that I’m really worried about letting go of. I’ve partied so much, it’s actually concerning – I’m surprised my liver is even still inside my body.

“I feel like I’ve well and truly done it all. I was getting to the stage, as I approached 30, where I didn’t enjoy going out like I used to. If I go out drinking now, I’d rather go home early. I’m ready to move into motherhood and just have a completely different purpose.”
