Gogglebox stars Jenny Newby and Lee Riley were flooded with supportive messages as they gave an exciting show update. The long-time friends have been favourites since they first debuted on the show in 2014.
They have since delighted fans with their hilarious updates on the week’s best TV, which they watch from their Hull caravan. The 26th season of the show came to an end earlier this month and Jenny and Lee have now confirmed the programme will be returning in February.
They confirmed the show’s return in a message on Instagram. In a joint message, they said: “Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a fabulous New Year cheers everyone see you all in February, much love. Jenny and Lee xx”
Fellow Gogglebox stars took to the comments to wish them well after the update. Simon and Jane Minty said: “Merry Christmas to you Jenny and Lee. Hope it is an absolute beaut.”
Ellie Warner said: “Merry Christmas! Hope you both have a good en lots of love xxx”
Ellie has been busy on social media today as she also revealed it was her sister’s birthday. In an emotional post, she said: “Happy Birthday to not only my little sister but my best friend there that’s about as sentimental as you’re going to get from me, now to enjoy milking it some more and being the biggest birthday diva going!
“Even Jesus cannot outshine you. Love you” Izzi took to the comments and joked what have you done with my sister after the heartfelt update.
