The Made in Chelsea stars have welcomed their first child into the world and shared their happy news with their thousands of followers on Instagram. New mum Sophie was glowing in pictures of her cuddling their newborn in bed just after giving birth. Another snap showed proud dad Jamie grinning by her side.

Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 31, kept fans up to date throughout her pregnancy and the busy pair even moved into a stunning £12million home ahead of the baby’s arrival as they prepared for life as a family of three. They announced they were expecting back in June in a sweet Instagram post.

Now, they have confirmed their baby boy has arrived. “Ziggy, you have our whole hearts,” Jamie shared on Instagram.

The pair recorded the last episode of their Nearly Parents podcast last week, with Sophie breaking down in tears as they were surprised with a goodbye party as she went on maternity leave.

“Now we get the party started,” Jamie shouted as the crowd clapped before dancing away.

Sophie said during the final podcast they were looking at methods to get her labour moving. “I told you guys, we’re a the stage where we should be nailing the sex,’ Sophie joked.

Jamie quipped: ‘Wait, you’ve never told me this.’

Sophie replied:”‘I did, I said we need to be having sex, we really need to wrap this up. You looked at me and went, ‘Pfft you’re just a bit of a unit.”

The pair fell into laughter as Sophie joked: “As I’m there, with my t*ts hanging on my stomach.’

Sophie and Jamie saw their relationship evolve from reality TV beginnings to a popular podcast and spots on the Radio One presenting team.

Their journey began on Made in Chelsea, where the pair took their relationship from friends to coupledom after a few bumps along the way.

After dating for several years, Jamie got down on one knee at the Rosewood London hotel in December 2021, where he and Sophie shared their first ever date, and popped the question.

The pair tied the knot in a civil ceremony in London in April 2023 with close friends and family, before having a huge weekend celebration in Marbella the following month.

Ahead of their wedding, the couple launched their podcast, NearlyWeds, to document the lead up to their big day.

Announcing Sophie’s pregnancy, the couple shared a sweet video on Instagram as they headed to a baby scan. Sophie could be seen getting an ultrasound scan and as the baby popped up on the screen, Jamie excitedly said: “Are you kidding me”.

Jamie panned the camera around the room onto Sophie who had the biggest smile on her face as the couple heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time.

Since their pregnancy news, they rebranded again to NearlyParents, where they shared sweet updates with fans. Jamie shared how he had a ‘chemical reaction’ after feeling his baby kick for the first time.

We felt the baby kick. Guys, it’s like a little foot, it’s a little foot that suddenly went poof into the stomach, and I felt it there,” he said on their podcast.

Sophie then described the feeling like a fish swimming through her stomach, before Jamie added: “It’s insane, you can put your hands on the tummy and you can feel the baby kicking. I can’t tell you what it does. There must be some sort of chemical reaction that happens.

“When I feel the kick, something goes through my body, something hits me, some chemical nails my body and the only way to describe it is like pure love. I’ve never felt that pure love, like real pure love.”
