There was cause for celebration in the Strawbridge household this week as proud parents Dick and Angel marked a major milestone: their son Arthur’s 12th birthday.
The couple treated fans to a glimpse of the festivities, sharing highlights from his Laser Tag party as well as cheerful photos of Arthur and his friends — with little sister Dorothy joining in the fun — all gathered at the family’s home.
Among the birthday snapshots were a few touching throwbacks from the day Arthur was born. In one, Angel cradles her newborn son, wrapped snugly in a blanket as she gazes down at him with unmistakable tenderness. Another shows Dick proudly holding his baby boy, his expression full of warmth and love.
In their caption, the couple wrote: “Happy 12th birthday to our kind, funny, clever, and gorgeous little man! (Not that we’re biased.) It feels like only yesterday that we held Arthur in our arms for the very first time…”
They continued: “This weekend saw 28 kids take over the Château with Laser Tag and plenty of games… it even snowed! Merry birthday, Arthur! We love you more than you will ever know!”
Fans were quick to share their affection in the comments. One follower gushed, “How precious are those baby pictures!” while another added, “Fabulous celebratory photos and such special memories. Happy 12th birthday, Arthur — you’re a real credit to your mum and dad.”

The post also revealed Arthur’s delightfully unconventional birthday treat. Instead of a traditional cake, he opted for a four-tier tower of cheese wheels. A brown star and rainbow candles marking his age were placed proudly on top of the cheesy creation.
Dick and Angel frequently treat fans to glimpses into their family life, and back in July they shared a series of beautiful photos from a day trip to Blenheim Palace.
In addition to Arthur and Dorothy, Dick is also father to two grown children — James and Charlotte — from his previous marriage to Brigit A. Weiner.
James is a chef, author, and food photographer who lives on the South Cornish coast with his wife, Holly, and their three young children.
Charlotte, meanwhile, is a portrait photographer and contemporary artist. Based between Edinburgh and Girona, she creates oil paintings inspired by nature and movement and also specialises in natural, candid portraiture.
