Ioan Gruffudd tied the knot with his Australian wife, Bianca Wallace, in April 2025, and they revealed her pregnancy two months later.
Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd and his wife, actress and producer Bianca Wallace, have welcomed their first child together. The couple shared the joyful news on social media, posting a series of heartwarming photos from the hospital.
“November was a biggie,” they wrote in the caption, revealing their daughter’s details: Name: Mila Mae Gruffudd. Birth date: 2 November 2025. Due date: 2 December 2025. They added that Bubba Bear and Rocky are “absolutely smitten,” while the new parents are “completely and totally in love with our tiny little angel,” expressing deep gratitude this Thanksgiving.
The post featured a tender shot of Ioan and Bianca sharing a kiss as she rested in her hospital bed, along with photos of flowers delivered to her room and a few of the baby’s new essentials, including a pacifier and a tiny onesie.
Fans quickly filled the comments with support and congratulations. One wrote, “Congratulations to you both. Blessings,” while another added, “You are such a strong momma. Sending love!”
“What a lucky little girl to be born to two such wonderful humans. Sending you all so much love,” said another, while a fourth chimed in: “Welcome little girl!”
While little Mila is Bianca’s first baby, Ioan is already a parent to daughters Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife, Alice Evans.
The pair have been locked in a contentious legal dispute since initiating their divorce in March 2021. They originally met in 2000 while working on 102 Dalmatians, quickly fell in love, and went on to marry in 2007.
In 2022, Ioan obtained a restraining order against Alice. Then, in July 2025, she asked the court to increase both child and spousal support, stating she had been evicted from her Los Angeles home due to financial difficulties.
Ioan announced his split from Alice in 2021.
Ioan, 51, met Bianca, 33, in Australia in 2021 while filming the TV series Harrow. They made their relationship public later that year, and the Welsh actor proposed in January 2024. The couple tied the knot in April 2025 and shared their pregnancy news on social media that June.
Bianca has previously spoken candidly about her health challenges, including her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis—an autoimmune condition that interferes with communication between the brain and the body. The illness can cause symptoms such as vision problems, numbness, pain, fatigue, mobility issues, and poor coordination.
The brunette star revealed that she received her diagnosis at just 25 and has relied heavily on Ioan’s support ever since. “Look, it’s not an easy illness,” she told the Daily Mail in 2022. “I’m more proud of the partners. I feel more for the partners of people with MS because, for us, you have to face it—you genuinely don’t know what each day will bring.”
She added, “But when you have an amazing support system, everything changes. I feel very lucky to be with someone so supportive. It’s incredible—I’ve never had this before. Having someone who truly understands makes all the difference.”
In a previous social media video, she opened up to her followers about the challenging symptoms she experiences due to her MS. “I deal with a lot of complications because of the diagnosis. I go blind in my left eye and have Botox to lift it,” she explained.
She continued, “The entire right side of my body has nerve damage. This is my tremor. When I’m stressed, I lose my ability to walk properly, so I’ve had to learn how to manage my emotions.”
