Angel and Dick Strawbridge have marked a major relationship milestone with a sentimental trip down memory lane as they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in the heart of Rennes, France.

The Escape to the Chateau pair commemorated the special occasion on November 13, 2025, sharing a heartfelt Instagram update the following day. In their post, they treated fans to a collection of nostalgic photos spanning their wedding day and family life with their children—Arthur, 12, and Dorothy, 11.
Reflecting on how they spent the day, the couple revealed they enjoyed a cosy anniversary dinner at Café Grandmas.
“Last night we rounded off the day with dinner at Café Grandmas, raising a simple toast: ‘To the best 15 years of our lives,’” they wrote. “Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey—your support and love mean the world. Here’s to love, laughter, and everything that comes next!”
A wedding rooted in history
Angel and Dick first met in 2010 through their mutual friend and agent Sophie Laurimore, and five years later they exchanged vows at their newly purchased home, the striking Chateau de la Motte Husson—a bargain buy at £280,000.
At the time, the property was undergoing intense renovations. Angel previously revealed just how gruelling the lead-up to the big day was.
“We were completely shattered,” she recalled. “I remember getting into a bath for the first time in ages and just bursting into tears. We were running on pure adrenaline, working 18 to 22 hours a day. The house was nowhere near finished.”

Still, despite the chaos, the couple managed to transform the château into the perfect backdrop for their special day.
“Before guests arrived, something shifted,” Angel said. “We decorated with flowers and suddenly everything felt right. We just knew it was going to be magical.”
Angel opted for a glamorous retro bridal look, wearing a satin midi dress crowned with an intricate lace cape. Her signature red hair was styled in vintage curls, complemented by a bold red lip and matching nails. Dick looked equally striking in a green tweed suit paired with a burgundy tie.
A decade of love—and 15 years since the moment they met
In their anniversary message, the pair continued:
“Happy Friday and thank you for the overwhelming messages—we were truly touched! We spent the day wandering around Rennes, reminiscing about our wedding, talking about the kids, our families, friends, and the incredible whirlwind that led us to that moment.

“We laughed, we cried (happy tears!), and felt unbelievably grateful. It’s wild to think that 15 years ago today we sat across a table, and that was it—we fell head over heels. That moment, captured in a photo with our friend Will third-wheeling, changed everything. We’ve been inseparable ever since, and what an extraordinary adventure it’s been.”
The couple’s romance, their château transformation, and their family journey continue to captivate fans—proving once again why the Strawbridges remain beloved icons of heartfelt storytelling and French fairytale living.
