Television presenter Coleen Nolan returned to the ITV daytime show on Tuesday after a two-week break, during which she welcomed two new grandchildren.
The 60-year-old panellist reunited with co-hosts Ruth Langsford, Janet Street-Porter, and Mariella Frostrup for the episode.
On her return, Ms. Langsford jokingly called her “nanny Coleen,” to which Nolan replied: “Honestly, I’ve come back to work for a rest. I’ve had two of them in two weeks.”
Coleen revealed that her daughter Ciara had given birth to a baby boy named Sidney Ray, shortly followed by her son Jake Cruz-Carter welcoming his second child.

These new additions bring Coleen Nolan’s total number of grandchildren to four.
The presenter revealed that her grandson, Sidney Ray, faced medical complications shortly after his birth on October 29.
Weighing 9lb 10oz, the baby experienced breathing difficulties that required immediate medical care.
Coleen explained that her daughter Ciara had a planned caesarean section due to the baby’s size.
“It was all lovely, and I was initially planning to be there. Ciara had a C-section because he was so big,” she shared with viewers.

However, the happy occasion soon turned into a moment of concern when Nolan received a worrying update about her newborn grandson’s health.
The baby’s breathing difficulties appeared shortly after delivery, turning what should have been a celebratory event into a tense situation for the family.
Coleen recounted the anxious moments following a message from her daughter’s partner, Max. “Then I got a text less than an hour later saying, ‘Sidney is here, he’s 9lb 10, but he’s just having a bit of trouble breathing,’” she shared.
The television star described the agonising wait for further news, saying she “didn’t hear anything for like half an hour,” leaving her feeling “frantic” at home.

Despite her concern, Ms Nolan resisted reaching out to the new parents directly.
“I didn’t want to bother them,” she admitted, understanding the delicate situation while Ciara remained in hospital.
Relief came when she received confirmation that her grandson was doing well.
“She told me he was absolutely fine. He just needed help with his breathing, so it all went from being ‘ahh’ to ‘ooh,’” Coleen explained to her co-panellists.
Sidney spent several days in hospital, though Ms Nolan reassured viewers that this is fairly common for larger babies. “He spent a couple of days on the ward, but it’s quite normal for big babies,” she noted.
Throughout his stay, Sidney’s parents remained by his side. Ms Nolan revealed, “Ciara and Max stayed with him the whole week,” ensuring he had continuous family support during his recovery.
The presenter confirmed that Sidney has since made a full recovery and is now at home with his family.
Coleen took a moment to praise the medical staff who cared for her grandson. “Can I just give a big shoutout to the staff because they were incredible,” she said during the broadcast.
She also spoke about the tiring reality of supporting her daughter, noting that travelling to and from the hospital — thirty minutes from her home — left her exhausted by the end of the week.
Sidney’s arrival brings Ms Nolan’s total number of grandchildren to four. She previously welcomed granddaughter Amelia through her son Shane Jr. in 2016, and her son Jake became a father for the first time last year. Jake’s partner gave birth to their second child, Cruz-Carter, shortly after Sidney’s arrival, creating a double celebration that prompted Coleen to take a brief break from television duties.
