Married couple Dick and Angel Strawbridge have shared a heartfelt announcement celebrating a major milestone in their relationship.
The Escape to the Chateau stars, who first captured hearts on Channel 4 in 2016 with their renovation of a stunning French château and the events business they run there, received an outpouring of support from fans after posting about their anniversary.
Away from the cameras, Dick and Angel are parents to two children: 12-year-old Arthur and 11-year-old Dorothy.
This week, the couple celebrated a huge personal milestone: 10 years of marriage. On Friday (November 14), they shared a series of photos on Instagram, including snapshots from their wedding day.
In their caption, they wrote:
“A huge hello on this Fabulous Friday, and thank you for all the incredible messages we received yesterday — we were completely blown away!
“We spent a wonderful day wandering the streets of Rennes, reminiscing about our wedding, talking about the children, family, friends, and all the beautiful chaos that led up to that unforgettable day.
“We laughed, shed happy tears, and felt so truly blessed.”
The couple continued: “It’s hard to believe that 15 years ago today, we sat across a table and instantly fell in love (see the photo of that moment with our friend Will acting as the perfect gooseberry!).”
“From that very moment, we’ve been inseparable, and what an incredible journey it’s been. Last night, we ended the celebrations with a cozy dinner at Café Grandmas, raising a simple toast: ‘To the best 15 years of our lives.’
“To everyone who has shared in our journey, thank you for your love, support, and the memories along the way. Here’s to more love, laughter, and the chapters still to come! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!”
