The Celebrity Traitors is set to return for a second series in 2026 following a hugely successful debut. The first series broke audience records and captivated viewers across the UK.

Set at Ardross Castle in Scotland, the show is hosted by Claudia Winkleman, who will welcome a fresh group of celebrities to the ultimate game of trust and treachery. The first series saw comedian Alan Carr crowned champion after revealing he was a traitor, winning the £87,500 prize for his chosen charity.

The production has been praised as “a bona fide highlight of the year,” with promises that the second series “will be just as unmissable as the first.”

The first episode of series one drew 14.8 million views across 28 days, with the finale averaging 11.1 million viewers and peaking at 12 million. The franchise has also boosted Scotland’s economy by £21.8 million since 2022.

The reality format has international versions in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Greece, and India. Alongside series two, companion podcasts and streaming options will provide behind-the-scenes insights for fans.

High-profile participants in the first series included Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie, Tom Daley, Paloma Faith, and Jonathan Ross, with memorable moments ranging from comedic mishaps to dramatic betrayals.
