Another couple from Married at First Sight UK has confirmed their split.
Keye Luke and Davide Ancica have parted ways following their marriage on the E4 dating show.
Fans saw the emotional exchange of their final vows earlier this week, and the couple also appeared together during the reunion episodes.
However, Keye has now released a statement confirming that he is no longer in a relationship with Davide and spoke openly about the breakdown of their marriage.
In a statement shared with The Sun, Keye explained: “I downloaded Grindr in the early hours of a Sunday morning while Davide was on a flight. I wasn’t looking to cheat, hook up, or meet anyone else.
“I was in a very dark place at the time and turned to something unhealthy because I didn’t know how else to cope.”
Keye Luke explained: “It wasn’t about wanting someone else — it was about trying to numb myself and escape my feelings. I understand how it looked, and I know it broke trust.
“Even though my intentions weren’t sexual, I crossed a line. I hate that Davide thought I was looking for someone else, because that was never the case. I was lost and made a terrible decision. When Davide found me on his profile, it cost me my marriage.”
Davide and Keye had been considered one of the experiment’s strongest couples, growing closer throughout their time on the show.
During the emotional final vows, Davide told Keye: “I have never had anyone make me feel as wanted and desired as you do. There have been times when you were loud, but never because of who you are — it’s just the way you show me your love.”
Reiss Boyce and Leisha Lightbody have also split since exchanging their final vows, with the pair opening up about their decision during the reunion special.
Explaining the reasons behind the breakup, Reiss said: “After the experiment, Leisha came to Essex and made a comment: ‘A footballer messaged me last night, but don’t worry, I put it to bed and told him I was with someone, so there’s nothing to worry about.’
“Then the next day, she said to me, ‘If it doesn’t work with you, it’s okay — I’ll just get with a footballer.’ My head was spinning. A couple of weeks later, we went out for the night — Leisha was talking to a boy and I was talking to a girl. Leisha came charging over and said, ‘What are you doing flirting with her?’”
Reiss went on to reveal that he decided to call things off with his wife and took a few days to consider their future.
