Castle Impossible wrapped up its first season on June 17, 2025, after eight episodes in which Daphne Reckert and Ian Figueira tackled the daunting task of restoring a 500-year-old French château.
Since then, fans have been clamoring for more. When Daphne and Ian posted photos from the final episode on Instagram, their followers flooded them with pleas: “Please tell us there will be a season 2!” and “We need to see the château through to completion.”

But despite all the enthusiasm, HGTV has remained tight-lipped. According to multiple sources, no official confirmation has been made about renewing the show for a second season.
Part of the reason for hope is the sheer scale of the property: during season one, Daphne and Ian renovated only a handful of rooms — the bedroom, kitchen, a playroom, a workshop, and one of the bathing chambers. With so much more of the château still to restore, a renewal would actually make a lot of sense.
If they do get the green light, industry watchers expect it would likely take until spring 2026 for new episodes to roll out — assuming HGTV confirms it soon.

Meanwhile, Daphne and Ian haven’t stopped working on the château. They continue to share their restoration progress on their YouTube channel, The Beau Chateau, giving fans behind-the-scenes access to projects and rooms that didn’t make it to the TV screen.
