TV presenter Jasmine Harman has shared a heartfelt update with her followers after her husband Jon suffered a heart attack.
The Channel 4 star and her husband were both shocked when Jon faced a sudden medical emergency during filming. The couple had been documenting the highs and lows of renovating their property in Estepona, but the day took a terrifying turn when Jon was shown on camera being rushed to hospital after falling ill.
Footage aired earlier this week on Jasmine Harman’s Renovation in the Sun confirmed that medics had diagnosed Jon with a heart attack.
Jasmine, who also hosts A Place in the Sun, later took to social media to provide further updates, expressing her “enormous gratitude” to everyone who had sent messages of support during the frightening ordeal.
Jasmine Harman paid a heartfelt tribute in a recent social media post, writing:
“Paying tribute to my lovely sister-in-law, Jo, who we miss so dearly […] and to celebrate my wonderful husband Jon, who has been through so much lately.”
She added with a touch of humour:
“I know I’m not the most patient nurse, but maybe that helped you recover more quickly!”
Jasmine also shared a note of support for viewers, writing:

Fans flooded the comments with messages of sympathy and encouragement. Earlier in the episode, Jon opened up about the prevalence of heart conditions in his family, revealing that his sister Jo tragically passed away at just 40 from sudden arrhythmic death syndrome.
Speaking to The Mirror, Jasmine confirmed that Jon is thankfully making a good recovery.
