Kelvin Fletcher Steps Out With Stunning Wife Liz for Glamorous Night at ITV Palooza

Kelvin Fletcher and his stunning wife Liz made a rare red-carpet appearance at this year’s ITV Palooza — and all eyes were on the couple as they arrived hand in hand at London’s Barbican on Tuesday night.

The Emmerdale star, 41, and his childhood sweetheart looked every inch the picture-perfect pair as they stepped out for the star-studded event. The couple, who first met at just eight years old, tied the knot in a secret ceremony back in 2015 and have since built a beautiful life together with their four children.

In recent years, the duo swapped city life for the countryside, buying a 120-acre farm and turning their new lifestyle into the hit BBC series Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure. They later returned to screens in 2023 with Fletchers’ Family Farm on ITV.

For their glamorous night out, Liz wowed in a vibrant red strapless midi dress that perfectly showcased her figure, styling it with a matching choker, sky-blue heels, and a chic woven handbag. Kelvin, meanwhile, cut a suave figure beside her in a classic black-and-white three-piece tuxedo, smiling proudly as the couple posed for photographers.

Earlier this year, Kelvin Fletcher opened up about a heartbreaking loss during an emotional appearance on Lorraine alongside his wife, Liz.

The couple joined host Lorraine Kelly, 65, in April to give viewers an inside look at life on their Derbyshire farm — which also features on their ITV series Fletchers’ Family Farm. But what began as a lighthearted segment quickly turned emotional as they revealed a recent tragedy on the farm.

Kelvin explained that lambing season had started earlier than planned after a young ram managed to break through a fence and reach the ewes. “We weren’t supposed to start until next week,” Liz said, “but we’ve had four little new arrivals who came early — and they’re very welcome.”

However, their joy was tinged with sadness. The couple shared that one of the lambs hadn’t survived a difficult birth. As the camera showed the tiny newborns nestled beside their mother, Kelvin said softly, “Sadly, the mum there had a prolapse — she was carrying triplets, and we lost the first one. But thankfully, we were able to save these two.”

It was a raw and emotional glimpse into the realities of farm life — one that left both the couple and viewers visibly moved.

“They were so tiny when they were first born,” Liz shared tenderly. “They’re about four or five days old now, and we’ve been bottle-feeding them to help their mum recover after what was quite a traumatic experience.”

Kelvin and his wife Liz, best known for her role as Rosemary in Cold Feet, swapped city life for the countryside in 2020 when they bought a 120-acre farm on the edge of the Peak District. It’s now home to the couple and their four children — Marnie, seven, Milo, four, and 23-month-old twins Maximus and Mateusz.

The move marked a major lifestyle shift for the Fletchers, who had spent years living in urban comfort before embracing the hard work and unpredictability of farming life.

Kelvin admitted his only previous brush with agriculture came through his long-running role as Andy Sugden on Emmerdale. “I’d never even set foot on a real farm until I started on Emmerdale,” he laughed. “Now I’m a bit of everything — a farmer, actor, father, househusband. Liz is the same. We both wear a lot of hats, and somehow, we make it work.”

“It’s chaotic — sometimes completely overwhelming,” Kelvin admitted with a laugh. “But as I keep telling Liz, there’ll come a day — maybe when the kids have all flown the nest — when we’ll finally be able to slow down and breathe.”

He smiled, adding, “I’m sure people look at us and think, ‘How on earth are they managing all this?’ But honestly, it’s brilliant. We’re happy, fulfilled, and excited about life.”

The couple’s farm is now home to an ever-growing menagerie, including rare-breed Cotswold sheep, chickens, alpacas, rabbits, and pigs — a far cry from their old city routine, but one they say has brought them closer than ever.
