The move to Dubai could prove very lucrative for Gemma.
As much as she loves her native Essex, Gemma Collins is preparing for a fresh chapter in Dubai, planning to leave behind her £2M UK mansion.

The 44-year-old Only Way Is Essex star is joining a growing number of British reality personalities who have relocated to the United Arab Emirates. Sources reveal that Gemma is eager to embrace life abroad, where she sees opportunities to “make even more money.”
Earlier this week, she shared a photo from Dubai with the caption: “If you can dream it, you can do it in Dubai. Dubai is a place of positivity, a place of making dreams come true.”
Although Gemma has achieved enormous success in the UK and has a loyal following, she is ready for a change and looking forward to sunnier skies.
“Gemma is viewing homes in Dubai this week. She flew out recently and has asked her team to arrange viewings of villas in popular areas like Dubai Hills and the Marina,” a source says. “She’s been considering leaving Essex for a while. Her family is incredibly supportive of her dreams and would love to experience life in Dubai too.”
While Gemma briefly considered moving to the Cotswolds, Dubai appeals as a place where she can thrive professionally, benefit her health, and raise a family in a safer environment with excellent schools. The insider added that she has openly discussed wanting to start a family.
Dubai has become a hotspot for UK reality stars, including some of Gemma’s former TOWIE colleagues. Seeing friends like Joey Essex, Yasmin Oukhellou, Amber Turner, Dawn Ward, and Sam Faiers succeed while splitting their time between the UK and Dubai has inspired her move.
The relocation could also be financially rewarding. Already wealthy from her TOWIE career, Gemma sees Dubai as an untapped market where she can grow her profile even further while continuing her lucrative social media ventures.
“She feels the world is her oyster,” the source adds. “After losing so much weight, she’s more confident and adventurous than ever, saying yes to everything and ready to take things to the next level. She doesn’t want to be stuck in Essex for the rest of her life and is now firmly set on moving to Dubai as soon as possible.”

Gemma’s renewed confidence comes after she dropped from a UK size 26 to a size 20 using NHS-approved weight loss treatment Mounjaro, which she began last November. She previously explained that the treatment helps her avoid obsessing over food, allowing her to eat once a day without snacking and freeing her from constant thoughts about meals.
“If I feel a little hungry, I’ll eat something, but it’s really about making smarter choices.

“These injections aren’t for everyone, but when used properly, they can be life-changing. They’ve made a big difference for me.”
