Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch, co-hosts of The Therapy Crouch podcast, recounted an “embarrassing” incident during an overseas trip that left them feeling “ostracised.”

Abbey Clancy has opened up about an “embarrassing” moment when she and her husband, Peter Crouch, felt “ostracised” while abroad. She shared the story during a recent episode of The Therapy Crouch podcast, which she co-hosts with Peter. The pair humorously recounted a time they tried to “fish around” for an invitation to a neighbour’s party.
Peter explained that during the event, their neighbour had a live band playing while he and Abbey were enjoying a barbecue, though the couple didn’t seem to mind. They even turned down their own music to listen in.
They recalled the band was likely a Kings of Leon tribute act, with Abbey remembering them standing on chairs and passionately singing the hit “Sex on Fire” while peering over the fence.
This led to the playful suggestion that the couple “might be up for an invite,” prompting Peter to share what he and Abbey described as an “embarrassing” story from a trip to Mexico.

Peter said, “Mind you, we did that in Mexico, didn’t we? You remember when we did that in Mexico?” Abbey admitted it was “highly embarrassing.” Peter went on: “That was embarrassing; we left our light on and started dancing to the music playing on the beach.”
Abbey explained, “We were sending bottles of champagne to the beach to try and get an invite, just because it looked so much fun and we’d been on our own for two weeks together…” She was reminded that, in the end, “it worked.”
She added, “Yeah, but people… we were completely ostracised; no one would speak to us.” Peter then clarified that the party was Brazilian, so everyone was speaking a “totally different language.”
Elsewhere, Abbey has been open over the summer about the possibility of having another child with Peter, her husband since 2011.

Speaking to the i Paper, 39-year-old Abbey Clancy revealed that Peter Crouch has joked he’ll “leave” if she brings “one more breathing thing” into their home, whether animal or human.
Abbey, who shares four children—Sophia, Liberty, Johnny, and Jack—with Peter, said, “I would definitely have another baby, but Pete’s like, ‘no way.’ I think I might be too old, but I just love them, and my daughter Liberty is obsessed with babies too. Pete said if I bring one more breathing thing into our house—animal or human—he’s going to leave. He was like, ‘We’ve got two cats, two dogs, a pony, and four kids. Enough is enough.’”
She also admitted that Peter isn’t particularly fond of her during pregnancy, joking that he finds her “psychotic” and isn’t sure he’d “survive” another one.
