“GIVE HER THE SPOT!” – Strictly Fans Go Wild as La Voix STEALS THE LIMELIGHT, Outshines Tess Daly and Sparks Calls to Replace Claudia Winkleman!

During Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween Week, fans went wild as La Voix temporarily took over Tess Daly’s hosting duties.

On Saturday’s episode of the BBC hit, the 45-year-old singer stepped into Tess’s role to introduce herself and the next dance – a dramatic paso doble set to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.

Dressed as the Queen of Hearts, La Voix addressed viewers: “So far this series, our next star has been a boxer, a bird lady, and Cher – quite the variety. Tonight, she’s taking on the Queen of Hearts for an Alice in Wonderland-inspired Paso Doble. It’s La Voix!”

Turning to Tess, who was beaming, she asked, “How did I do?”

Tess responded, “Nailed it!” causing La Voix to wink cheekily at the camera as the audience erupted in applause.Strictly Come Dancing viewers went wild as La Voix stepped in to host in Tess Daly’s place during the show’s Halloween-themed week.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers went wild as La Voix stepped in to host in Tess Daly’s place during the show’s Halloween-themed week.

During Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing, 45-year-old singer La Voix stepped into Tess Daly’s role to introduce herself and her next dance, a paso doble to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. Fans quickly flooded X (formerly Twitter) with praise, with many insisting she should become one of the show’s new hosts.

Comments poured in: “La Voix seriously needs to become one of the new presenters,” “I wouldn’t mind if she replaced Tess, she’s brilliant,” and “Give my girl the job!”

La Voix even surprised Claudia Winkleman on air by publicly asking to take over her role. Claudia, 53, and Tess, 56, had stunned viewers the previous week by announcing they would step down, marking the current series as their last after making a pact to leave together.

With speculation over their replacements already running high, La Voix wasted no time putting herself forward, ensuring she was front and centre in the race for the coveted BBC presenting spot.

Wearing a Queen of Hearts costume, La Voix addressed viewers: “This series has seen our next star transform into a boxer, a bird lady, and even Cher—what a mix!”

She added, “Tonight, she’s stepping into the role of the Queen of Hearts for an Alice in Wonderland-themed Paso Doble—give it up for La Voix!”

She then looked at Tess, beaming from ear to ear, and asked, “So, how did I do?”

Tess responded, “Nailed it!” causing La Voix to flash a playful wink at the camera while the audience cheered wildly.

After her hilarious hosting cameo, fans rushed to X (formerly Twitter) to applaud La Voix, with many suggesting she should become one of the show’s new presenters.

She wrapped up the episode alongside partner Aljaž Skorjanec, transforming into Cher to perform a Salsa to the hit “Strong Enough.” Backstage in the Clauditorium before her performance, she cheekily seized a moment with Claudia.

As Claudia teased her upcoming Cher routine for Icons Week, La Voix interrupted: “Claudia, while I’ve got you, do you know the address when you send your CV to the BBC? Just in case any new jobs are coming up. I’m just asking for a friend.”

Claudia laughed, grabbed La Voix’s hand, and pulled her into the centre of the shot, saying, “Give it a go, babe, let’s do it now.” Showing off her wit, La Voix handed over the main studio with a single word: “Tess,” sending the room into peals of laughter.

Claudia giggled as she hugged La Voix, while Tess chimed in: “Perfect.” Viewers at home were equally amused, flooding social media with comments calling La Voix “the perfect replacement” and “a national treasure in the making.”

This follows La Voix surprising Claudia Winkleman by publicly asking for her job during last Saturday night’s episode.

This comes after the co-hosts announced via Instagram last week that they would be leaving the show together, with their final appearance scheduled for the Strictly Christmas Special.

Fans quickly flooded social media praising La Voix, insisting she has the charisma and humor to step into the presenting role. Comments included: “La Voix has the personality and humour to be one of the new Strictly presenters,” “Everything she does or says is gold,” and “Love to see La Voix with the job.”

Many highlighted her comedic timing and wit, comparing her to iconic figures like Bruce Forsyth and suggesting she would make a brilliant replacement for Claudia Winkleman. Other reactions celebrated her hilarious moment in the Clauditorium, calling it “comedy gold” and “a national treasure in the making.”

Fans also joked that La Voix is already angling for Claudia and Tess’s jobs, praising her quick thinking and natural humor.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturdays at 6:25 pm, with the results show on Sundays at 7:15 pm, airing on BBC One and iPlayer.
