Coleen Nolan was visibly overjoyed as she shared the arrival of her newborn grandson, describing him as “beautiful” and “a gift” in a heartfelt social media post.
The 60-year-old Loose Women star took to Facebook to share the first photos of baby Sidney Ray Innes, who was born on October 29 weighing a healthy 9lb 10oz. Her daughter, Ciara Fensome, welcomed her first child with fiancé Maxx Innes, just a year after their engagement in Vietnam.

Coleen wrote, “I am almost lost for words—which is very unlike me—and I can hardly describe the incredible range of emotions I am feeling right now. Love, pride, relief, happiness… because here he is, my beautiful grandson Sidney Ray Innes.”
She also lightheartedly joked about being involved in the pregnancy journey “apart from the haemorrhoids,” noting that Ciara and Max were already “taking to parenting like ducks to water.”

New mum Ciara shared a heartfelt message on social media: “So proud of all three of us. I have carried him for nine months, but @maxkerrinnes, you have carried us all this whole time.”
Big brother Shane Nolan also joined in the celebration, calling his sister “the best mum” and joking about being made an uncle once again.
This arrival marks Coleen’s third grandchild. She is already “Nanny Col” to Shane Jr’s daughter Amelia, born in 2016, and to Jake’s baby boy, who was born last year.

Reflecting on Ciara’s love story, Coleen previously admitted she had her doubts when her daughter began dating Max, who played guitar in Shane’s band.
“She came out and said, ‘Mum, I might have to kiss the guitarist, he’s very attractive,’” Coleen recalled on her Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast. “And I remember thinking, ‘Oh no, please not another musician — I’ve just divorced one!’”

But Coleen now describes Max as “absolutely brilliant,” calling him the perfect partner for her daughter.
