MAFS UK’s Reiss lands major West End gig after ex-Dani says he ‘always wanted to be famous’

MAFS UK star Reiss Boyce has secured an impressive new role just weeks after his ex-wife Dani claimed he “always wanted to be famous.”

This Christmas, Reiss will trade in the show’s iconic dinner parties for the bright lights of the West End as he makes his stage debut in a festive theatre production. The gig marks a significant career step following his time on Married At First Sight UK.

Reiss was originally paired with Leisha Lightbody on the E4 series, but their wedding reception quickly turned awkward when she bombarded him with personal questions.

Their rocky start continued after the honeymoon, when Leisha became sick from drinking and, according to Reiss, spent “an hour” chatting to another man at the back of the plane.

Despite the early turbulence, the couple have since worked through their issues and are now in a better place though still not among the most romantic pairings on the show.

Away from the series, Reiss is stepping into the spotlight as Prince Reiss in the cheeky adult panto Sinderella, which runs at the Scala in London’s West End from December 21.

He’ll be channelling his flirtatious side on stage as he searches for his ideal Cinderella, and fans will even have the chance to meet him afterwards thanks to special post-show meet-and-greets.

Reiss will share the stage with Big Brother star Simon Gross, promising audiences a night filled with outrageous humour, festive fun and plenty of mischief.

The announcement comes shortly after his ex-girlfriend, Towie star Dani Imbert, suggested that Reiss has “always wanted” a taste of fame.

The pair had dated before Reiss signed up for the E4 experiment. When a fan recently quizzed Dani on Instagram about the possibility of Reiss joining Towie, she responded:
“Honestly, I really hope Towie gives him his dream and signs him!
I’ll definitely put in a good word with producers — I know how much he’s always wanted that xxx.”

Reiss and Dani first got together in summer 2023 but ultimately ended things in early 2024. Reiss later explained that the constant arguments became too much, while Dani admitted she felt “hurt and betrayed” when he decided to take part in MAFS UK.
