Lewis Cope Receives Backing from Girlfriend and Katya Jones Following Emmerdale Investigation.

Lewis Cope and his professional partner Katya Jones have received support from his real-life girlfriend as they continue their Strictly Come Dancing journey.
The actor is preparing for week five of the BBC One competition, having advanced through Icons Week, which takes place this Saturday (October 25).
Lewis and Katya secured their place in the next round following a Foxtrot to Nat King Cole’s L-O-V-E, earning 34 out of 40 points from judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke. Their upcoming routine will be a Quickstep to Johnny Cash’s Ring Of Fire, as the remaining 11 couples pay tribute to a singer or band.
Ahead of their performance, Lewis and Katya had a busy Thursday (October 23), which included an interview on ITV’s Lorraine and a segment on It Takes Two with Janette Manrara. Sharing photos from the day on Instagram, Lewis wrote: “Today was pure joy! Kicked off with a fabulous interview on @lorraine with @ranvirtv, followed by @bbcstrictly rehearsals with @katyajones and ended with @jmanrara on It Takes Two. Feeling so thankful.”
His girlfriend, Rachel Lopez, was quick to show her support, commenting: “Absolutely glowing, the pair of you!!!!”

Meanwhile, Lewis Cope has been discussing the possibility of returning to Emmerdale, where he played Nicky Milligan.
He first appeared in December 2022 as Gabby Thomas’ new nanny, later revealed to be the secret son of Caleb Milligan, who had been using him to undermine Kim Tate. Lewis departed the soap last year alongside his on-screen boyfriend Suni Sharma, played by Rrahmdeo Shannon Ramana, after growing frustrated with his family’s secrecy.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com and other media at the Pride of Britain Awards, Lewis said: “Nicky can come back at any point. His family is still in there. It was a brilliant, brilliant job for me. I loved being there, everyone’s so lovely and they’ve been so supportive of this [Strictly] as well. So, you never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
Asked directly about a potential return, he added: “Never say never.”
