Chris Martin and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner are reportedly secretly dating after both ended high-profile relationships.
The 48-year-old Coldplay frontman split from long-term girlfriend Dakota Johnson, 35, in June after an eight-year relationship, while Sophie, 27, ended things with her upscale boyfriend Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson in September.
According to reports, Chris Martin and Sophie Turner, 29, have been “secretly dating.”
It’s claimed the pair first met just a week after Sophie became single. They are said to have gone on a “secret date” recently, sparking speculation in the world of showbiz.
Representatives for both Sophie and Chris have been contacted for comment.
A representative for Sophie Turner declined to comment on the rumours.
Sophie and her boyfriend Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, 30, reportedly split at the end of August after the Game of Thrones star was spotted on the celebrity dating app Raya. The couple, who began dating last year, were seen together at Glastonbury in June but are believed to have ended things at a high-society wedding in late September. Reports suggest Sophie met someone new just a week after the split.
Meanwhile, Perry is also said to have moved on quickly, reportedly seen hand-in-hand with a mystery blonde resembling Sophie.
Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson announced their surprise split in June after eight years together. Rumours about their relationship had been circulating for months prior. The pair, who had been engaged since 2020, reportedly struggled to make their relationship official.
A source told The Mail that while the couple had tried spending time apart to fix things, it didn’t work. Dakota, who loved Chris and his children, is said to be devastated about spending less time with his kids but wants them to know she’ll always be there for them. The couple was last pictured holding hands in January at the Babulnath Temple in Mumbai during Coldplay’s tour.
Chris Martin spent much of his summer in London performing a series of Wembley dates as part of Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres tour.
The singer is a father of two, sharing Apple Martin, 21, and Moses, 19, with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The couple met in 2002, married a year later, and divorced in 2016, describing their split as a “conscious uncoupling.”
Sophie Turner is also a mother of two, with daughters Willa and Delphine from her marriage to Joe Jonas. The pair first met in 2016 and married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2019. Their relationship reportedly deteriorated after Delphine’s birth in 2022, and Joe filed for divorce in 2023. Following a tense custody battle, their divorce was finalised in September last year.
