Pete recently got caught out by a lie detector test while being questioned about his love life.
Former TOWIE star Pete Wicks was seen getting close to Love Island’s Helena Ford at his Staying Relevant book launch last night.
The two sat together, with Helena frequently touching Pete and unable to keep her hands off him. They were spotted whispering and sharing laughs, and Helena was seen rubbing the 36-year-old’s back and giving his shoulder a reassuring squeeze as he addressed a crowd of influencers.
Pete, 36, met Helena, 29, a few months ago and has previously described her as “really lovely,” according to What’s The Jam. Their flirty exchanges came only weeks after Pete shared a steamy kiss with his Strictly co-star Jowita Pryzstal, 31.
Interestingly, Helena has also been linked to Pete’s best friend, Sam Thompson, after she posted a cheeky message about him on X.
Helena once cheekily tweeted: “Where do I apply to sit on @samthompsonuk’s face? Asking for a mate.”
Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 33, later met her for the first time on After Sun, where they laughed off the tweet and even joked about her heading to the hideaway.
Helena seems to have left quite the impression on both Sam and Pete, as she was given a prime seat at Pete’s intimate Staying Relevant book launch.
The Love Island star turned heads in a strapless black sequin two-piece, fastened at the back with delicate string ties. Pete, meanwhile, was spotted posing for a playful photo with her while wearing a Pete Wicks mask — an image shared by Traitors star Leanne Quigley with the caption, “Who is the real Pete?”
Helena, who featured in the most recent Love Island series, previously had an on-and-off relationship with Harry Cooksley before he paired up with Shakira Khan. She was later dumped from the Mallorca villa after being placed in a friendship couple with Blu.
The former air hostess has since admitted she’s unsure if she’ll be allowed to return to her old job after appearing on the show.
MYSTERY LOVE INTEREST
Pete and Helena’s flirty display comes shortly after he admitted being “in love” with a mystery woman back in August.
The revelation happened during an episode of his Staying Relevant podcast, where Pete hinted at a secret romance while taking part in a lie detector challenge with his best friend Sam Thompson.
During the test, Sam quizzed Pete about his love life, asking, “Are you in love with somebody right now?” Pete answered “no,” but the polygraph examiner, Mark, quickly confirmed he was lying.
As the results appeared on the screen, Mark gave the camera a thumbs-down to signal Pete’s dishonesty. Sam burst out laughing, shouting, “Ahhh, I knew it! And that’s all we’re going to say,” while Pete jokingly protested, “How could you do that to me?”
