Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has revealed she had to rush her baby daughter to A&E after the little one suddenly fell “really sick,” admitting that “life comes at you really fast”

Lucy told fans she was struggling to cope as she spoke about her baby Nancy’s illness.

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon revealed she had to rush her baby daughter Nancy to A&E over the weekend after the little one became “really sick,” admitting that “life comes at you really fast.”

The 29-year-old actress, who welcomed Nancy in January, opened up to fans about the difficult weekend in a candid Instagram Story on Monday.

Wearing pink pyjamas and a dressing gown, Lucy told followers, “I didn’t want to come on and be really attention-seeking, but here I am. We’ve had quite a weekend — it’s been full of sickness, A&E visits, and everything.”

She also shared a sweet clip of baby Nancy playing as she spoke, giving fans a glimpse of her adorable daughter.

Giving fans an update on her daughter’s condition, Lucy said: “I don’t even know who I am anymore. Poor Nancy is so unwell. Just look at her eye — I honestly can’t cope. She’s been vomiting and has a throat infection, ear infection, and eye infection, plus two new teeth coming through and a sickness bug. It’s just a reality check — life comes at you really fast.”

Lucy, 29, and her partner Ryan, 28, are currently staying with his parents while they renovate their home near Ormskirk, West Lancashire. The actress returned to her Coronation Street role as Bethany Platt in July, just seven months after giving birth to Nancy.

Lucy and Ryan met on the celebrity dating app Raya in late 2020 following her split from actor Tom Leech. The couple faced heartbreak after Lucy suffered a miscarriage, but they later welcomed their son Sonny in January 2023. Just over a year later, Lucy unexpectedly fell pregnant with Nancy — news she admitted she was nervous to share with her Corrie bosses.

“I was in the green room and everyone was talking about storylines when I suddenly felt tears falling,” Lucy recalled. “I called Caroline, our cast liaison, and she said, ‘This is good news — why are you crying?’ Then I went to see the producer in tears, and she was so lovely about it. I’d built it up in my head, thinking everyone would be annoyed.”

Since returning from maternity leave, Lucy said she hasn’t been filming more than two consecutive days at a time — something she secretly appreciates. “It’s actually quite a nice break,” she laughed. “It’s definitely harder this time with two kids. I was in The Rovers the last couple of days and didn’t have many lines — just watching things unfold. If I get a storyline, great, but if I’m just hanging out with the Platts, that’s perfect too.”
