Love Is Blind’s Ali Lima Responds to Rumors About Having Extensive Plastic Surgery

Love Is Blind’s Ali Lima Addresses Plastic Surgery Rumors After Online Speculation

Love Is Blind season 9 star Ali Lima has responded to widespread social media claims suggesting she’s had extensive cosmetic work done.

Quoting a comment that read, “She looks nothing like her sisters, she must have had so much plastic surgery,” the 29-year-old shared a TikTok video on Friday, October 24, where she sat in her car and lip-synched to the audio saying, “No sir,”—a clear clapback to the rumors.

After ending her engagement to Anton Yarosh during the October 22 finale of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, Ali Lima was comforted by her mom and sisters in the dressing room. However, fans speculated that Ali had undergone cosmetic procedures, partly because she appeared noticeably different from her relatives.

In response, Ali posted a TikTok on Thursday captioned, “Info on my transformation coming right up cutes,” teasing that she would share more about her beauty journey. She also “liked” several supportive fan comments, including “People just mad you’re stunning,” “God forbid a girl has natural beauty,” and “Your sisters are beautiful.”

Ali even reacted to a comment asking, “Please give details. I need to do the same thing.” The speculation intensified after Reddit users circulated older photos of Ali, claiming she looked very different in the past.

When a fan asked if an online photo was of her, Ali responded, “That’s my old roommate, but you’re getting warmer.”

Ali, 29, got engaged to Anton Yarosh during Love Is Blind season 9, which was filmed in Denver two years ago and premiered on Netflix earlier this fall. Although they reached the altar, Ali chose to walk away during their wedding ceremony.

“It was really hard to leave him up there. I almost wish he would have said no,” she said in a finale confessional. “I was really hoping that standing up there with him would make me feel at ease and confident. It just didn’t feel right or how I would expect that moment to feel.”

Ali explained that marrying Anton didn’t feel right after discovering he hadn’t been “super forthcoming” about aspects of his lifestyle. “Some of the information that I learned about Anton through his friends threw off my perspective of him,” she added. “It just feels really s***ty to be the one walking away.”

During their engagement, Ali questioned whether Anton had a drinking problem, which he repeatedly denied. After their split, Anton addressed her concerns in his own confessional.

“You know, she said that she feels like I’m not the person that I was in the pods,” he said. “I don’t know if it’s looks, vibes, or the way we were living together, but I can say that I’ve done nothing but care for her and it f***ing sucks, man.”

The Love Is Blind season 9 reunion is set to stream on Netflix Wednesday, October 29, at 9 p.m. ET.
