Dylan Efron and his high school sweetheart, Courtney King, have been dating since at least 2016.

While Dylan Efron is paired with pro Daniella Karagach on Dancing with the Stars, he already has a partner off the dance floor.
The younger brother of actor Zac Efron has been impressing fans with his moves on season 34 of the show, but off-screen, he’s been in a long-term relationship with his high school sweetheart, Courtney King.
The couple has kept much of their relationship private, though photos of them date back to October 2016 on Dylan’s Instagram. Despite his discretion, Dylan has been open about their long-term potential.
During a March 2025 appearance on The Viall Files podcast, he hinted at marriage, saying Courtney “knows the answer” about their future together and reassured hosts Natalie Joy and Nick Viall that their relationship isn’t meant to last indefinitely.
“Courtney’s so down to earth,” Dylan added. “She’s not going to put a deadline on me.”
Here’s everything to know about Courtney King and her relationship with the DWTS star.

“We’re from the same hometown,” he said.
While they haven’t disclosed exactly when they met or started dating, Dylan’s Instagram shows photos of the couple together dating back to at least October 2016.
She prefers to stay out of the spotlight
While Dylan Efron has pursued a career in Hollywood like his brother, Courtney King prefers a more private life.
“She’s actually not on social media and works a 40-hour-a-week job,” Dylan told The Viall Files. “It works out really well—not that I’m hiding her from the world. She understands the job and doesn’t really like being on camera.”
She gave him some feedback on his The Traitors experience

Although Courtney King keeps a low profile, she stays connected to reality TV—and her knowledge has influenced Dylan Efron’s own experience on The Traitors.
Dylan told The Viall Files that Courtney “loves” the podcast and introduced him to it. On the show, he drew on insights from the podcast to build connections with fellow players, including Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval.
In a February 2025 Cosmopolitan interview, Dylan recalled greeting Sandoval with, “You look really familiar,” unaware of who he was. Sandoval explained his past scandal with ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, prompting Dylan to mention the podcast. Dylan joked that when he told Courtney what he had said, she replied, “That wasn’t the podcast you should have said. It wasn’t his best moment.”

Dylan Efron has long been a fan of CBS’s Survivor, a passion he shares with his girlfriend, Courtney King.
“Survivor was day one for me. I watched all the old seasons and quite a few of the new ones,” he told The Viall Files. “So when I arrived at the castle with some of the all-time best Survivor players, I was like, holy s—… here I am playing with my childhood heroes.”
While Survivor sparked his initial interest in reality TV, Dylan said Courtney’s enthusiasm for the genre pulled him in even further.
“She watches a lot too, so I’ll be sitting down and suddenly I’ve watched a whole episode of Southern Charm,” he explained. “There’s some funny s— that goes down in this stuff.”
