“This has made my day,” Irwin said after learning Bailey sent him the bouquet.

Robert Irwin had a full-on fanboy moment.
The 21-year-old conservationist shared a video on social media on Friday, Oct. 24, showing his reaction to a surprise delivery during a Dancing with the Stars rehearsal. In the clip, his partner Witney Carson entered holding a large bouquet of flowers addressed to him.
“Who are these from?” he asked. “Oh my goodness, they’re beautiful.”
Carson, 32, teased, “Do you have a secret admirer I don’t know about?”
As Robert opened the accompanying card and saw who it was from, his jaw dropped and he jumped up and down. “It’s from Jonathan Bailey!” he exclaimed.
“Stop!” Carson said, but Irwin insisted, “No, seriously!”
He then read the message aloud: “You are the shiz, Robert. You’ve done all the Fiyeros proud. Cheering you on from afar. Big love, JB.”

Jonathan Bailey’s thoughtful gesture came after Robert Irwin and Witney Carson performed a jazz routine to “Dancing Through Life” for DWTS’s Wicked-themed night on Oct. 21. For the performance, Irwin dressed as Prince Fiyero, the character Bailey plays in the 2024 Wicked film and its upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good.
“This has made my day! Thank you so much, Jonathan!” Irwin said, beaming from ear to ear, as the camera captured him walking around the studio with the bouquet in his arms.
Carson teased, “Do you want to put those down so we can rehearse, or are you just gonna…” to which Irwin interrupted with a firm, “No,” ending the clip.
In the post caption, he wrote: “Thank you so much @jbayleaf 💐. What a cool surprise — it was an honour to play Fiyero for the night!”
Fans were equally starstruck in the comments, with one saying, “I too would react like this if Jonathan Bailey sent me flowers,” and another adding, “🤣 I love this so much! 😍 The ‘no’ at the end had me LOLing! 😝”
Earlier in the week, in the performance’s intro package, Irwin revealed just how much of a Wicked fan he is he even rented out a theater to watch the film for his 21st birthday.
After the performance, Carrie Ann remarked that “Dancing Through Life” “should be your theme song,” while Bruno described the routine as a “joyful, theatrical delight.”
The duo earned nines from all the judges, finishing the night with a score of 36/40.
