The couple tied the knot in California on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Selena Gomez is determined to keep parts of her personal life away from public attention.
During her October 21 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 33-year-old Only Murders in the Building star explained why she and Benny Blanco chose to keep their recent wedding mostly private.
“I didn’t want anyone taking pictures of my wedding unless they came from me, and I try to keep my life as private as possible,” she told Jennifer Hudson.
True to her word, Gomez waited three days after marrying Blanco, 37, before sharing any photos. On September 30, she posted a carousel of images on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the intimate celebration—complete with delicate floral arrangements, a heart-shaped cake, and three stunning wedding gowns designed by Ralph Lauren.
Her favorite dress featured a lace halter neckline, a heart embroidered with the couple’s initials, and the wedding date stitched inside. The gown was adorned with 300 hand-crafted lace flowers, crystal details, and a hand-painted corset.
For the ceremony, she wore a flowing canopy-style gown, and later changed into a sleek silk satin halter dress with an open back and a short train.
Benny Blanco also posted several photos from their California wedding on September 28, offering fans a closer look at Selena’s stunning long veil, their sparkling wedding rings, and a few tender moments between the couple. In his caption, he playfully nodded to Gomez’s Disney Channel roots, writing, “I married a real-life Disney princess.”
Then, on October 6, Gomez uploaded a few more never-before-seen pictures from the big day while celebrating her longtime friend Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl. “In honor of SHOWGIRL… so grateful to have you by my side almost 20 years later, gator,” she wrote. “I love you @taylorswift, forever and always.”
Two photos captured the couple sharing a tender hug beneath glowing string lights and enjoying their drinks together. In a video shared alongside them, Selena can be seen preparing for the ceremony inside her tented suite, with Taylor Swift, 35, sitting nearby in a glittering floral dress and her trademark red lipstick.
In the clip, Swift playfully reacts while recording Gomez on her phone, exclaiming, “Are you even serious? What? Look at her. Oh, my God! Oh, my God!”
