Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz will be back on screens this weekend.

Kelvin Fletcher, his wife Liz, and their children had to leave their family home after it was destroyed by a fire.
In the premiere episode of the new season of Fletcher’s Family Farm, airing Sunday, the couple gives viewers a look at the aftermath of the blaze that broke out while they were away on holiday.
The fire caused such extensive damage that the family couldn’t stay in the house and had to move out temporarily.
Clearly emotional, Kelvin and Liz were seen looking over their damaged belongings, with Kelvin revealing that all his clothes had been lost in the fire.
Narrating the episode, the former soap actor explained, “This year started off busy, but it hasn’t been without challenges. While things have been going well with the animals, a shocking and devastating fire hit our farmhouse late last year. We believe it started in that area, then spread quickly through the roof — which is now completely gone.”

He went on to say that their farmhouse, which had stood for more than 200 years amid the scenic hills of Cheshire and the Peak District National Park, held deep meaning for them.
After moving in four years earlier, Kelvin and Liz had worked hard to restore the property into a warm, welcoming family home at the center of their farm. Sadly, he explained, the fire at the end of last year took all of that away.
As the couple sorted through their damaged belongings, Liz grew emotional, wiping away tears and saying, “It’s absolutely heartbreaking, isn’t it?”

Kelvin recalled the terrifying moment they learned about the fire, explaining, “We were on holiday when our neighbor, Jilly, called us it was like something out of a nightmare. She was panicking, and by that point, the fire was already raging.”
He said that the fire brigade was called right away, but being in another country left them feeling helpless. “I’ve never been through anything like that before,” he admitted.
Although firefighters arrived just eight minutes after getting the call, the blaze had already been burning for hours. The intense smoke caused widespread damage throughout the entire farmhouse, leaving the family unable to live in any part of it.

The family was able to rent a house nearby, allowing them to stay close to the farm and continue caring for their animals every day.
Kelvin shared that their children have handled the sudden change remarkably well, even managing to find some positives amid the loss of their burnt clothes and toys.
According to the synopsis for this week’s episode, the documentary returns to follow the Fletchers in their fourth year of farming. As spring nears, lambing season begins, and a new bull joins the farm to help expand their herd of Lincoln Reds. Meanwhile, Kelvin takes on a new challenge with arable farming, and he and Liz face the emotional aftermath of the devastating farmhouse fire.
