Hilaria Baldwin says TikTok “mean girls” pushed her off DWTS, boosting everyone else instead

Baldwin and her pro partner Gleb Savchenko became the fourth couple voted off the show on Oct. 7.

Hilaria Baldwin says bullying led to her early exit from Dancing With the Stars.

Last week, she and her professional partner Gleb Savchenko became the fourth couple eliminated from season 34. Speaking to Us Weekly, Baldwin claimed a wave of online hate and a coordinated campaign targeted her, deliberately working to get her voted off.

Baldwin, who’s new to TikTok, explained that some users were running campaigns not just to support their favorites but to vote against her. “They were voting for all the other couples except us, boosting everyone else and trying to drown out my fan base,” she said.

Hilaria Baldwin previously spoke out about the bullying she faced after her Dancing With the Stars exit during an Instagram Live on October 10, just three days after being eliminated. She stated bluntly, “I did get bullied off the show. I did, that’s for sure.”

She reiterated her claims the next day in an Instagram video, calling the harassment “coordinated” and “strategic”. Baldwin emphasized her commitment to speaking out against wrongdoing, saying she wants to leave a legacy of courage.

She added that people who meet her are often surprised by the negativity she faces online, explaining that the hateful comments don’t reflect who she truly is, which she finds heartbreaking.

Representatives for Dancing With the Stars did not immediately comment to Entertainment Weekly.

However, fellow season 34 contestant Andy Richter showed support for Baldwin on Instagram, saying it “sucks” to see her eliminated. He added that everyone on the show works hard and deserves to be there, and expressed frustration at the cruelty online: “These awful things that get said, they’re heard by real people and they hurt real people.”

Baldwin is familiar with handling online criticism. The entrepreneur and yoga instructor has addressed backlash over her Spanish accent, which some questioned despite her being raised bilingual.

She has also faced years of scrutiny related to her husband Alec Baldwin’s role in the Rust tragedy, in which a prop gun discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
