Coronation Street star Jacob Roberts appears to have confirmed a new romance with a colleague from the ITV soap.
Jacob joined the cast last year as Kit Green, Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) estranged son, and quickly became entangled in dramatic storylines. From discovering he has a secret son, Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), to surviving a stabbing, Kit’s time in Weatherfield has been full of tension and excitement.
Now, it seems Jacob’s personal life is thriving as well. Reports suggest he is dating Corrie PR Caitlin Connolly, a relationship he recently made public on Instagram.
Jacob Roberts seemingly confirmed the romance by posting a sweet selfie with Caitlin Connolly on his Instagram Story, adding a heart emoji to the photo.
Speaking about the couple, a source told: “They’ve been together for a while now, it’s very sweet. They seem besotted with each other, and it’s been an open secret that they’re a couple for quite some time.”

Jacob Roberts’ new romance follows his split from ex-girlfriend PR Amy Harris, whom he dated for five years. The breakup was hinted at last year when Jacob removed all traces of Amy from his Instagram, a move she mirrored in October 2024, seemingly confirming the split.
Jacob isn’t the only Coronation Street star to find love on the cobbles. His co-star Jack P. Shepherd met his now-wife Hanni while she worked as a storyline writer and researcher. After six years together, the couple got engaged in June 2024 and married the following month.
Jack and Hanni tied the knot at Manchester Cathedral, with guests including Lucy Fallon, Tina O’Brien, Julia Golding, as well as best man Colson Smith, groomsman Ben Price, and Jack’s on-screen mother Helen Worth.
