Coronation Street reveals Becky Swain’s cunning scheme in an ITVX release plus major news for Swarla fans

The Corrie villain is scheming away…

On Monday’s (20th October) episode of Coronation Street, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) puts her latest scheme into motion as she tries to win back her estranged wife, Lisa (Vicky Myers), who is now engaged to Carla Connor (Alison King).

With Carla away in Ireland, Lisa is stressed when her and Becky’s daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) spends a night in a police cell accused of criminal damage. Becky, however, has been secretly working with shady DI Costello (Daon Broni) and shows Lisa a flash drive proving Betsy’s innocence. Furious, Lisa confronts Costello at the station, demanding Betsy’s release.

Meanwhile, Costello reveals that Becky had tried to contact Lisa over the years, but he blocked her. After Betsy is freed, Costello calls Becky, telling her he’s done his part by letting Lisa believe it was his fault she stayed away, and now Becky must leave.

As Lisa sees Becky’s actions in a new light, the two share a nostalgic evening of wine, food, and memories, growing closer. But when Roy Cropper (David Neilson), tasked by Carla to check on Lisa and Becky, drops by unexpectedly, he walks in on an intimate moment.

Later, Lisa opens up to Roy, making her feelings about Carla clear. With Becky planning a move back to Spain, spoilers confirm that Betsy is set to join her, a plan orchestrated entirely by Becky.

The big questions remain: Will Lisa uncover Becky’s full plan? Will Becky realize she’s fighting a losing battle for their marriage, or could she manage to gain the upper hand?
