Katie Price has reportedly named the star she accuses of raping her during her time on I’m A Celebrity, according to her friend Kerry Katona.
This week, the 46-year-old left fans shocked while discussing the alleged assault during her UK tour with Kerry. It’s claimed that Katie had previously hinted at the ordeal during her 2004 appearance on the show.
After Katie’s revelation onstage in Grimsby last week, Kerry said, “I remember you telling me that when we were in the jungle together.”
Although the I’m A Celebrity cameras film 24/7, this moment was never broadcast. Katie made her explosive claim while performing on An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona, a 38-date tour across the UK where the pair share stories from their past.
Katie Price made the allegation during her shows in Bradford, Stockport, and Grimsby.
At her Scarborough performance on Wednesday night, she spoke more openly, telling the audience: “He raped me and when it came out all my friends said I had got to go to the police but I did not go to the police because I did not want to get involved with it all.”
An audience member described the stunned reaction to her accusation of the “well-known” male star, saying: “Everyone was shocked. People felt really sorry for her. It was difficult to hear, and it will have touched those who have experienced similar horrific situations themselves.”
“The revelation became the main topic of conversation during the interval, as the accused man is very well-known. Katie also appeared visibly unwell—tiny and fragile, like a little doll—clearly under significant stress.”
Until now, Katie had never publicly named her alleged attacker. In 2009 and 2012, she stated she would “never name him.”
However, fans at her tour said she “blurted out” the name of the man she claims assaulted her.
“One evening I did not expect at all,” one fan commented. Another added, “I now have a different understanding and level of respect for her that I never anticipated.”
