Strictly’s Vicky Pattison Reveals Husband Has to Be ‘Patient’ After Being ‘Booted Out’

The Geordie Shore star and her hubby Ercan Ramadan have been married for a year.

Vicky Pattison has revealed that her husband, Ercan Ramadan, has had to be “patient” while she competes on Strictly Come Dancing, joking that he might secretly be hoping she gets “booted off” the show.

The 37-year-old reality star admitted that balancing intense dance training with her other work commitments has left her “so exhausted”, leaving little energy for intimacy at home. She explained that she’s relying on Ercan’s patience as she navigates her hectic schedule.

“We’ve been together for nearly ten years and have a really healthy relationship,” Vicky said. “But it’s just so hard. You’re training for hours a day, still working outside of this podcasting, social media, launching a clothing collection. Things are full on. After a full day doing the Charleston, you don’t fancy going home and doing the mattress mambo.”

She added, “[Ercan] has to be a little bit patient right now. I think he’s potentially one of the only people in my inner circle hoping I get booted out.”

Vicky also revealed that the 32-year-old dancer is currently “in the doghouse” for going away without her, leaving her to return to a cold, dark, empty house.

Vicky Pattison admitted that her husband, Ercan Ramadan, has been temporarily “in the doghouse”. The couple had planned a trip to visit his family, but when Vicky’s Strictly Come Dancing commitments kicked in, she encouraged him to go ahead without her. Returning home alone, she found it difficult coming back to a cold, dark, empty house.

“The dogs aren’t even there because I’m working 14-hour days. You need some normality when you’re out of your comfort zone scared, lonely, working hard. It’s been really tough without him, but he’s back now,” she explained.

Vicky added, “He’s my number one supporter, and I’m really lucky, but he’s probably hoping he gets some intimacy soon.”

Although Vicky is already proving popular with fans on Strictly, she admits she still feels a bit out of her depth, but is grateful for the support of the other contestants.

Vicky Pattison admitted she often feels completely out of her depth on Strictly Come Dancing. “I feel so out of my depth I could cry just thinking about it. I never expected to be this scared all the time. It’s exhausting,” she said. “I’m hoping that at some point the penny drops and I think, ‘I’m on Strictly, this is really fun,’ but at the minute I’m just living in habitual fear.”

She praised the support of her fellow contestants and friends: “Pete Wicks is constantly checking in and trying to wrap me in cotton wool. Kaz Carney will come to my dressing room and I’ll have a little cry. Chris Robshaw always gives me a big brother-style bear hug every time I see him.

Ross King is always holding my hand, and George Clarke texts me every day to make sure I’m okay. I could probably do with meditating or doing breath-work, but honestly, it’s the people on the show who are getting me through this.”
