The 29-year-old actress joined the ITV soap as Bethany Platt in 2015 and recently returned from a maternity leave break.

Lucy Fallon has said she has no plans to leave Coronation Street after her recent return.
The 29-year-old, who plays Bethany Platt, originally joined the soap in 2015 and left in 2020 to pursue other projects like Don’t Rock The Boat and the drama Tom Jones.
After returning in 2023 and taking a recent maternity break, Lucy is back on screen as of October 3 and says she feels “comfortable” on the show. She explained that she doesn’t plan to leave for other roles, as the friendships, familiarity, and convenience of filming near home are important to her.
That said, she would “love” to take a short break to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Lucy Fallon revealed she’d love to take part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, saying that while Strictly is more complicated due to being on the BBC, she’s happy to stay on Corrie and explore other life experiences.
She also expressed interest in a storyline for her character Bethany Platt involving weight-loss injections, noting how topical and relevant it would be, and likening it to “going back to the Kate Moss vibes.”
For now, Lucy Fallon has been content with Bethany Platt taking a background role, filming no more than two consecutive days at a time since returning from maternity leave.
She admitted that juggling work with two children has been “much harder” this time. Some days she’s simply observing scenes in The Rovers, enjoying moments with the Platts, and is happy whether or not she has a major storyline.
