Ercan Ramadan gushes over wife Vicky Pattison with heartfelt message ahead of Strictly live performance

He was sat in the audience cheering for his wife during last weekend’s first live show.

Ercan Ramadan posted a heartfelt message for his wife, Vicky Pattison, ahead of her second performance on Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday.

The former TOWIE star shared a collection of photos from last weekend’s live show, where he was in the audience cheering her on.

In one snap, Vicky and Ercan posed with her dance partner Kai Widdrington and his girlfriend Chloe Wells, while another showed the couple sharing a passionate kiss.

Ercan wished Vicky luck, writing: “It’s SHOW TIME. Good luck to everyone tonight. My beautiful wife @vickypattison & @kaiwidd you’re both going to smash it. Let’s go @bbcstrictly.”

Vicky replied in the comments, gushing: “I love you SO MUCH. Come home now and bring me a meerkat.”

Kai replied to Ercan with “Big love” and a hand heart emoji.

Before her first live show last weekend, Vicky admitted she was feeling nervous. She posted a clip on Instagram of her trembling hands, captioning it: “Feel like it’s a little bit too early in the morning for this. Shaking like a leaf already only like eight hours to go.”

Vicky shared a photo on her Instagram grid showing off her golden glow after a fresh spray tan.

In a long caption about her pre-show nerves ahead of her Cha Cha Cha routine, the I’m A Celeb winner wrote: “I’m lying in bed freshly spray tanned and absolutely RIDDLED with nerves and anxiety about tomorrow’s first live show just scrolling through my phone and I came across this picture…”

Vicky shared that the photo was from the moment her agent called to tell her she’d been cast on Strictly. She admitted, “As someone who has watched the show for years and is a huge fan… I honestly just couldn’t believe they’d want someone like me. In fact, I still can’t.

“When the nerves ramp up a notch tomorrow, which they undoubtedly will, I’m going to remind myself of this moment… how unbelievably lucky I felt to be taking part in such an amazing show, to be learning a new skill and gaining a new family too… all these lovely things.”

Luckily, Vicky sailed through her first dance with Kai, earning a solid 23 points from the judges, placing her seventh on the leaderboard out of 15 contestants.

The show has introduced a major change to the dreaded dance-off format. Previously, head judge Shirley Ballas held the deciding vote, but that rule has now been scrapped.

Under the new system, a different judge each week will have the final say, meaning the casting vote could come from Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, or Shirley herself.

This shake-up adds extra unpredictability to the competition, ensuring that no celebrity is ever truly safe from a surprise exit.

Strictly’s first results show will air this Sunday, where one couple will face elimination from the competition.

The show continues tonight at 6:20 pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
