Thomas Skinner shared a sweet moment with his wife Sinéad backstage before his first live Strictly performance on Saturday night.
Putting recent controversies, including his affair, aside, the Apprentice star wore a grey zip-up hoodie as he greeted his wife warmly. Sinéad looked glamorous in a mulberry wrap top, and the couple shared a kiss while being flanked by security.
However, Thomas’s Paso Doble with professional partner Amy didn’t go as planned. Dressed in black and performing to Without Honour or Humanity by Hotei, the duo struggled to impress the judges. Craig Revel Horwood scored them just a 2, commenting it looked “more tin-soldier than it was matador.”
Fans at home also noticed the chilly reception from the audience. One tweeted, “Screaming at the audience silence when Thomas came out at the start #Strictly,” while another added, “Yikes, that audience is cold AF to Thomas Skinner. You can feel that atmosphere through the TV.”
