Charlotte Dawson gives a tour of the stunning nursery she designed for her daughter Gigi, sharing insights on life with fiancé Matt Sarsfield and navigating the joys and chaos of family life.

Former reality star Charlotte Dawson laughs when asked to sum up her life as a mum-of-three, choosing the word “outnumbered.”
The 33-year-old influencer and TV personality is currently enjoying life with her six-month-old daughter, Gigi Dawson Sarsfield, whom she describes as another “new best friend.”
While Charlotte delights in filling her Blackpool home with pink for Gigi, shared with fiancé Matt Sarsfield and their two other sons, Noah, four, and Jude, two, she admits it’s “absolute carnage.”
“Having two was lovely, but having three is a bit like hell,” she laughs. “With three kids, it feels like you’ve got 10—you’re completely outnumbered, no matter how you look at it.”
Charlotte Dawson says, “It’s amazing, of course, and seeing the way the boys are with Gigi, I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve always wanted a daughter—I craved that bond. Me and my mum are so close, and I wanted that same relationship with my own little girl, a best friend. I’m really trying to enjoy the moment because everyone says how fast they grow, but oh my God, it’s hard.”

Her honesty and humour have made Charlotte one of the nation’s favourite “mumfluencers.” She explains, “As I’ve grown up, I’ve realised we’re all different and fabulous as we are, and you have to embrace it! If you’ve got jelly on your belly, shake it. If your boobs are down to your bunions, let them be! I like to laugh about it, accept who I am, and think everyone should do the same.”
With 1.5 million Instagram followers, Charlotte has kept fans entertained since Noah’s arrival in January 2021 with funny videos about body confidence, breastfeeding, food fails, and parenting life. But she admits she’s only human and can’t always maintain that upbeat, humorous mindset.
When the! team arrives to get a first exclusive peek at baby Gigi’s pink princess nursery (for which delighted Charlotte makes no apologies), she is clearly absolutely loving life with Gigi and the boys – but also admits, there have been tough moments.

Charlotte Dawson opens up about the challenges of early motherhood, saying, “I’ve really struggled these last few months, and I’ve had a bit of baby blues.
But I’ve just had to get on with things because I’ve been so busy with three children, you just have to crack on. I’ve had so many low days, and I’ve had to take myself away and have a cry.”
Charlotte Dawson, daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson, admits the sleepless nights have taken a toll on her more than before, leaving little time or energy for her relationship with fiancé Matt Sarsfield.
She says, “It’s so hard for both of us because we’re just full-on with the kids. I know it’ll get easier and we’ll get that back, but finding time for myself, Matt, and the kids is a lot. I wouldn’t change a thing, and the kids are just the most loving bunch and always there with kisses and cuddles, but it’s still a lot!”

Charlotte Dawson reveals that she and fiancé Matt Sarsfield, 34, haven’t properly shared a bedroom since the birth of Noah, though that was never their intention. Now that Noah is at school and Jude in nursery, they’re determined to reclaim some couple time.
“We had a moment the other day where we just burst out crying together because we’re tired and there’s a lot of demands on us. But we both said, ‘We’ve got this’. And I genuinely believe we have,” Charlotte shares.
Their first step is getting baby Gigi settled into her own room, with guidance from a doula and breastfeeding expert who also helped establish Jude’s routine. Charlotte laughs about Gigi’s constant need to feed, saying, “She’s constantly on the udders, she’s milking me dry,” acknowledging that the transition might take time.

Charlotte laughs, “Let’s just pray. I don’t know if she’s not sleeping because she’s right next to me, or something else. But the lady who helps is brilliant. We’ve never left our babies to cry, so that’s not going to happen, but I think if we don’t try to give it a go and start now, I won’t do it.”
She’s gone all out with the nursery, creating a full-on pink paradise. “Everything has got to be pink, everything,” Charlotte says, revealing that even Noah and Jude’s old blue-and-grey jumparoo was donated to charity.
The room features ballerinas on the walls, a light-up “Gigi” LED sign, a giant pink bow, and a pink boucle chair with matching footstool perfect for feeding sessions.

As well as the “secret door” into the glittery pink en suite, another of Charlotte’s favourite touches is the addition of a poem she wrote for Gigi in tribute to her own dad Les, who died in 1993 when she was just eight months old. “It says that her grandad is in heaven, and explains that she got sent to me to be my best friend,” she tells us.
